Allotajonnes SG I'm new here in SG and currently got accepted in a job. I just want to ask which Bank is the cheapest in terms of opening a new bank account for my pay. I'm quite short of funds. And another thing, how will I apply? is there online application or I need to go directly? Also what are the requirements? Thank you so much!
1long1 SG No initial deposit is required to start a bank account in Singapore with DBS bank. The only requirements are a copy of your passport and an address with proof of residence i.e. an identity proof along with a photograph. The entire process is quite simple and hassle free and you can even apply online. Check the bank website for more info.
