nightsky87 SG The carpark was crowded lah, as usual. So I was waiting for this woman and her young daughter who went into their RX, but the woman like doing something so I thought she not driving off; I drove forward to wait. Then suddenly, she drove up next to me and gave me a horn. I wind down my window then she told me I can take the slot. and what's more, she passed me two orange coupon and told me "I tear off too much, still got remaning you can use bah" and got her daughter to pass it to me. The orange coupons (2 hours) only use 40mins ++, so anyway I went to park in the slot and do my thing la. So when I finished and came out, decided to tear one of my own coupon (since I was already prepared to expend it at the carpark anyway) and passed it to this middle age guy with his young son waiting in a old green W202 c200 and told him to wait and I will vacate the slot for him. Totally surprised and shocked, but it really made my day. I'll probably never forget this incident. PASS THE KINDNESS AROUND

Maybe if you are more tolerant of beginning drivers and what-you-termed-as "road-hoggers" in another thread, then you would also be getting a coupon from me when I happen to meet you? (Ha ha.. Anyway, I am a very new driver.. tend to be slower even on the expressway but often on the left lanes) And yes... I was surprised to read about this thread, as I was expecting to read about some negative incident.. So I really smiled when I read about something that is trivial yet so heartwarmingly positive..

ORIGAMIST SG I used to pass my balance used coupon to other driver .. once, I tore an hour but use for about 15 mins only ... then hor as I was going off, I saw a man parking his car .. I tap my horn and signalled to him if he wants it ... he like very buzy, so I get off my car and walk to him to pass to him .. he refused to take but he took a coupon and tear ... I was very diao ... then on, I decided to just mind my own business .....
casshern SG i also learn of this practice and decided to pass it around. was at Bukit timah for prata and just as i pulled up my handbrake an old man came over and said he over tore his coupon and offered me one purple which is just nice the time i park. i was abit stunned at first cos this was the first time and i never expect anyone do this. so another time i was at Tiong bahru and i tore a coupon going down to eat when my friend just nice called and ask me to go get her. so i saw a car pulling in and i offered my coupon to the driver. he also abit stunned by my gesture but accepted it with thanks. well, what goes around comes around. sharing is caring!
