hi Bear !!! yeah..keish, some soups take time to cook. let me see if i have the simple recipe at home.

Jellyfish

rinse the jellyfish in cold (cold not tap) running water and drain

put it in a bowl an pour in boiling water.. cover

allow to soak in the water for about 15 minutes or until it is soft.. (be careful not to overdo this, else there will be no texture whatsoever)

drain and then dunk into cold water to soak at least 6 times in several changes of cold water (keep changing the cold water to make sure the temp of the water is cold)

take out and drain thoroughly and blot dry with paper towels and set aside

can shred already Smile

Sauce

1 jar of plum sauce
a dollop of sweet chili sauce (can use Sinsin Chili Sauce)
a touch of vinegar (about a teaspoon or 2)
finely chopped coriander (a few sprigs will do)
some sugar (a teaspoon or 2)
toasted sesame seeds (up to you)
a drop or 2 of sesame oil

just mix everything together.. keep separate from the jellyfish... refrigerate.. the amounts, uhh.. gotta go with trial and error as they are approximate amounts.. modify to taste when mixing Smile

Serving

simplicity itself... just scoop the sauce into the jellyfish and mix.. lump the lot into a plate and serve

Recipe for some kinda Minestrone.. with cheats involved...

3 tomatoes
2 large cans of crushed tomatoes
2 cans of Campbell's Beef Comsomme (add 2 cups of water)
1 packet Continental Vegetable dry soup powder
1 bunch of spring onions
1 bunch of celery
2 cans of green French Beans
1 kilo carrots
2 chicken cubes
1 oxo cube

dice all vegetables and throw everything above into a pot, add salt and pepper, bring to boil and allow to boil rapidly for 10 minutes... simmer until all the stuff is tender..

add water as preferred...

cheat version of minestrone! Smile

Minestorne soup got chicken cubes 1 meh?
Well the important things in the soup would be carrots,beef and tomatos.Usually i cheap and dump katchup in hehe but might get abit sweet.
Haiya u wan soup the best is beef stew!!Water,Beef,potatoes,tomatoes,carrots,flour(optional) and onions!!!Oh and a pot and stove Mr. Green
And cooking is fun.....it's my stress reliever!
