I personally feel that the articles being posted on stomp are
usually ’’lame’’ and should not be considered as ’’news’’, even
things such as couples arguing or gossips are featured on stomp… I
personally feel stompers go to the extent of posting redundant news
just for 50 bucks
If Singapore is 'clean' city, why do you need 'Stomp'? You
remind me of an incident when once I went to dine in an restaurant,
there is not enough seat and I happened to see 1 empty seat on an
table with three persons presume to be friends or colleague, and it
seem they had just finished their meal with leftover food plates on
the table.
And I have asked politely to one of them whether I can use one
of the seat and one guy was kind enough to say yes, however as soon
as I seat down, one joker who used the table started to glared at
me and said this to my face : "Excuse me, can you leave us alone,
do you know that this is NOT an coffee
shop, we pay to be in this restaurant (or in case the
table) and you are being inconsiderate to sit down with
us, can you just leave and eat somewhere else and didn't disturbed
us?"
Naturally I respond "So sorry for the trouble" and just stand
up. Luckily for me, the restaurant staff nearby seen to know what
happened and asked the three 'people' whether they had finished
their meal and if they had, they should be considerate and
let other customers used and that when they started to leave.
And also luckily for that joker, smart phone is not invented at
that time, otherwise you can guess what going to happened next. Of
course to you, maybe this is just another lame story and jokers
like the above story should be go off scott-free.
