singapore geckos are same as indian wall lizard ?

request you to consider this as serious request. I am indian national planning for MBA program in Singapore.

I suffer from Herpetophobia situation. (extreme, uncontrolled fear of lizards)

i need to know is this will be potential problem in Singapore day to day life.

No geckos in Singapore...you can hear and see many in Indonesia. Wall lizards are seen many under the flat apartments void decks. Geckos sound like this tohkek..tohkek..tohkek. Wall lizards no sound...very silent.

You are right charlize...I forgot...its true. Yeap, thats the sound make by wall lizards. You know the Malays superstitious belief is that when you hear a lizard make that tchuck tchuck tchuck sound after you say something to someone, that means what you say is true (tchuck tchuck tchuck). For the filipinos it means someone is coming to your house...no lizard sound leh...hehe.

Use elastic bands and shoot it down or the best way to make them go away put some moss balls around the house.

Lols during my teenage days, my friends and I sang and played the guitars under the void decks until morning...sometimes...police spot checks us..ask for our IC. Sometimes we didn't bring it with us so went up to take IC. I brought down my IC and birth certificate to show to the police lols.

No lah charlize...no insects swarm the whole place...but plenty of cockroaches..sometimes rats near the rubbish chute. Singapore hdb void decks so clean now I doubt you see things. Have you spend your time often the whole night under the void deck with your friends?
