If i remember right AC won the same tie in 2003 semi final due to the away goals rule, first leg 0-0 AC home, then 2nd leg 1-1 Inter home, so Inter got kicked out

Anyway the allocate the % of fans differently what, so when AC home more AC fans and the same thing when Inter is home

but isnt it the same as a arsenal vs chelsea tie like last year? just that there are 2 different stadiums.
the way they allocate the tickets is they will check what fan you are before selling you the ticket. If they anyhow sell, then any derby will have uneven distribution of home and away tickets.

maybe on an AC home match they will eject any fan that wears Inter jersey in the home crowd section?

it's London but one's Highbury and the other is Stamford Bridge... it's not the same as players will know their own field...

soccer fields all around the same one what......... maybe some are harder but then again the difference is not much.
on a lousy field, all the players will find it equally difficult compared to a good one, so knowing the field is just a very small factor, home support is a much more important one.

It is stupid. It ensures that one Italian team is in the semi-finals...and I am hoping not to see Catenaccio all over again, like in 2003. It adds tension but I do wish there was a rule that teams from the same country do not meet until it is unavoidable.
