Christian Poulsen's agent has opened negotiations with
Liverpool but is not sure if an agreement will be
reached.
Poulsen has emerged as a transfer target for the Reds this
summer, with Roy Hodgson confirming his interest in the Juventus
midfielder this week.
Liverpool have spoken to Poulsen's representative, Joern
Bonnesen, and are reported to have offered a three-year deal.
However, it does not look like anything will be finalised in the
near future after Bonnesen returned to Denmark.
"I don't know if we will reach an agreement," the agent told
Tipsbladet.
"I will go home without a contract and we will work from
there.
"This is not something which will be resolved in two
minutes."
