Tottenham striker Peter
Crouch has welcomed talk of a return to Liverpool.
The Liverpool Daily
Post says Reds manager Roy Hodgson is eager to add a target
man to his squad and is believed to view Crouch as the ideal
candidate.
Hodgson, who has spoken of his desire to bring experienced
English players to Liverpool, is
a confirmed admirer of the England striker having failed in a bid
to bring him to Craven Cottage as Fulham manager last summer.
It is believed the Tottenham
Hotspur player would welcome a return to Anfield,
where he scored 40 goals in three successful seasons, despite Spurs
having secured Champions League football for the next campaign.
