Fernando Torres is in danger of missing out on an emotional
return to Atletico Madrid for a second time after being booked in
for further treatment on his knee injury.
The Liverpool striker, who was sidelined by injury when the
sides met in the Champions' League, was hoping for the all-clear to
resume training after being examined by a specialist in Barcelona
yesterday.
Instead, he will receive more treatment in Spain over the next
few days before being reassessed towards the end of the week, in a
setback that casts doubt over his hopes of being fit for the Europa
League semi-final with Atletico on April 22 and 29.
