The KOP 'together-ness' thread

Poignant SG

Liverpool, a club we support, is going through one of the shittest start ever in our history.

the issue is now,

should RAFAEL BENITEZ stay on as our man in charge?

should we, sgforums's kopites still stand behind this man, and cheer him on every match, hoping something to come out of nothing?

People, while deciding your stand,

bear in mind that Mr Rafael is the man that got us a Champion league title, a FA cup, a Champion league final in 2007.

HOWEVER, he is also the man that created our being today. losing to a beach ball, losing to portsmouth, losing to fulham along the way.

Poignant SG

for me, i will remain as a kop, but i've TOTALLY no more faith remaining for that man in charge, even a treble this seaon wont save him for me. i want him out, asap, immediately.

i dont fancy the idea of spending 9m pounds to get dirt kuyt, neither am i happy with regards to most of rafael signings.

beside agger, mascherano, torres, alonso, i think rafael wtf.

Medicated Oil SG

If the Liverpool management dun dump Ah Ben by this weekend, I guess the fan will be raising a massive "Kick Rafa Out" campaign at Anfield soon.

He is not helping the team to win.

He is alone with his ego trip.

Poignant SG

i dont think the england liverpool fans will do that.

they have alot of faith and trust in rafael, because of that CL win.

i blasted rafael over at those england's kop site, and guess what, none share the same view as mine, no one even thought as close as mine. lol

Medicated Oil SG

I have also ran through the fan site.

Although I shared the same sentiments as you, the Kopites at England are supporting Ah Ben cos they think he is doing his best with limited resources.

After tonight match, more call to support Ah Ben will come out.

So, I am prepare for more disappointment if they stick with Ah Ben for the rest of the season.

Poignant SG

i havent met any though, hope to see more as the season moves on.

i cant take this every weekend you know.

club18 SG

lean towards the fact that liverpool is just unlucky this season..

benitez is a good enough manager and he has made some mistakes but in the transfer market he really has very little resources. wouldnt blame him

Poignant SG

a vaild point to debate.

but i will say he's spending his little money real badly.

i wont say liverpool is unlucky, if a top club need so much of luck in a season, then something is real wrong.

Rooney9 SG

a team should not have relied on a player just because he left, the team becomes sucky after he left. there are 10 other players on the pitch too, it is a team game.

Medicated Oil SG

Ah Ben is not good enough for BPL after 5 seasons.

Why aquaman and babel were not involved tonight ???

Why change a left back with a left back ???

Why sticking with Lucas ???

Kuyt is out of shape and sharpness.

Dun blame the finances cos he bought an injured aquaman and not using him.

Rooney9 SG

if liverpool were to finish between 6-8 positions, he will be sacked at the end of the season. I think liverpool will continue to lose more, say probably 12-14 matches this season at the rate they are losing now.

Poignant SG

rafael's idea this season was to turn last season's drawings into wins.

but before he knows what he is doing, he turned draws in loses.

brillant

Agenda SG

I don't think 19m for Glen Johnson and 20m for Aqualiani is limited resource.

Whatever his scouting department is doing, it's definitely not enough.

Rooney9 SG

they sold alonso for 30m and thats a lot of money for a single player. johnson has been a disappointment and aqua has not even played in a full match.

brokenluv SG

haix.... im going send my resume to anfield management ask them consider hire me as manager. RAFA WTF ARE U DOING!

MaNyZeR SG

Even as an arsenal fan, I would say that rafa is no longer the man liverpool needs.. sack him

CannyOng SG

Even as an arsenal fan, I would say that rafa is no longer the man liverpool needs.. sack him

Yess... Fully agreed. Please sack the full of himself manager!

Poignant SG

people, do not forget that rafael is also the man who brought in the likes mascherano, fernando torres and xabi alonso.

however, for a period of 5 years, this are more or less the players that turned out well for him

Medicated Oil SG

The first bunch of recruits are employed with the help of Pako.

Without Pako, Ah Ben cannot buy the right players any more.

Patrik SG

I din like him when he sold Luis Garcia.

I din like him when he sold Harry Kewell.

I din like him when he sold Xabi Alonso.

I din like him when he bought Dirk Kuyt.

I din like him when he bought Dossena.

I din like him when he bought Degen.

I have been saying this for years and i still must say this today.

Liverpool is seriously lacking of CREATIVITY.

Except for Torres,Gerrard,Ryan Babel and Benayoun, who else in the Liverpool squad is capable of unlocking defences, make penetrating runs, take on defenders?

Kuyt?Lucas?Ngog?Mascherano?

Spare me the agony every week.
