i will be surprised if liverpool get anything from stoke with the same lineup in the second half.

what puzzles me is that with torres and keane, why opt for kyut upfront?

the reds defense cannot cope with stoke throw ins and crosses.their midfielders are giving away possession with their half-paced run. add in the non-existent strikeforce, this is the crappiest performance i've seen in liverpool this season.

with man utd playing chelsea tmrw,i must say it is a "brilliant" decision to field a full force against preston and a half-fark team against stoke.

u can see little desire, if not, no desire in the liverpool players. most of them chose not to pressurize the opponents and do ball watching.

it is as if they enjoy maintaining a smaller gap from chelsea and man utd..

i am quite sure liverpool threw this game away intentionally. the players seem to be angry at something and have no will to win the ball.

it is not as if they do not have enough rest given that they played their previous game just last week and their next game is 1 week away.

rafa was expressionless and sammy wasnt keen to shout out any instruction.

maybe the american bosses just announced that there is no AWS ...

lucas deserves to get the yellow card.. clumsy and uncalled for challenge just outside the penalty box. rafa should have played torres from the start… just look at the understanding between him and gerrard..

but still 3 points lead isnt very much. if he dont want to risk torres.. then how about keane.. scored 2 against arsenal then was benched. todae benched again and didnt feature at all. kuyt havent scored in 9 games i think and he’s better as a provider i think. todae play him lone striker….. dono what ah ben thinking. put 55million on the bench (torres plus keane). think they add up worth more than whole of stoke’s first team. sigh..~ and i think we’re really missing alonso.
