Come to think of it , will be a tough game , especially at home .

At home , in a way , opposition came , with a " Can't beat them ? Hold them ! " mentallity .

Unlike away , Home teams tends to come at us , and the game is much more open , at Anfield , they simply parked a TANK infront of the goal .

Poolman SG

Anyway , i think Liverpool still too strong for The Tigers , not that we're that good good , but i can sense there will some kind of self destruction from Hull City , cos at this stage , playing at Anfield , playing in the Premiership , the tension and pressure is so intense , only those experience teams can cope . No all can cope playing in the winter also one reason .

Some match-preview facts:

Liverpool defend the longest current unbeaten home record in the top-flight against sixth placed surprise package Hull, knowing that victory for the Premier League pacesetters will open up a four point lead over Chelsea.

The Tigers have avoided defeat in 75% of their Premier League games under Phil Brown (12 of 16), and are hoping to gain their second away win over a 'Big Four' club, having already beaten Arsenal 1-2 at the Emirates on 27 September.

The Merseysiders, Champions League Group D winners midweek, have already dropped home points to a promoted club, being held to a goalless draw by Stoke on 20 September.

Both clubs have scored 24 goals in their 16 Premier League outings to date, and both have recouped an unsurpassed 12 Premier League points from losing positions; Liverpool have won four games in which they were trailing, while Hull have won three and drawn three.

Hull have never beaten Liverpool in a competitive match.

LIVERPOOL

Jamie CARRAGHER is the only remaining outfield player to have been on the field for every minute of every one of Liverpool's Premier League matches this season.

Goalkeeper Jose REINA, also an ever-present, leads the race for the Barclays Golden Glove having kept 10 clean sheets.

If selected:-

Daniel AGGER will be playing the day after turning 24.

If on the field from the outset:-

Alvaro ARBELOA will be making his 50th Premier League start - all in Liverpool colours.

HULL CITY

Boaz MYHILL and Michael TURNER are the only remaining players to have been on the field for every minute of every one of Hull's Premier League matches this season.

Nick BARMBY needs a hat-trick to reach 100 club career goals.

Dean WINDASS is a hat-trick shy of 200 goals in English and Scottish league football.

If selected:-

Wayne BROWN will be making his 50th appearance in Hull colours.

BARMBY will be facing a former club. The 34 year old England international made 58 appearances (32 in the league) and scored eight goals (two league) for Liverpool between July 2000 and August 2002.

my call: tough match!!!

but then, we seem to do well in tough matches :D

===> a narrow win (2-1)

Poolman SG

Stoke ... came , and savage a draw on 20th september . 0-0

Wigan came .... and just unlucky to lose to us after leading twice . 3-2

Pompey came , and we need a penalty to beat them . 1-0

Fulham came , and parked their coach infront of the goal . 0-0 it finished .

West Hame came , and also parked a bus infront . 0-0 .

And these are midtable teams .... mid table teams came , and came for a result , not winning , and not losing as well .

FirePig SG

jamie carragher is own goal king as always

kopiosatu SG

dossena non existent.

the Bear SG

Dirt Cult playing a heck of a game!

glad i stuck with this game on tv

www SG

non-existent is much better than having a left back that is slower than opponent's full back, cannot pass, cannot cross and cannot tackle.

italian players are not suitable for english premier league.

kopiosatu SG

pua CB.

lucas come on.

hate the f*cker

babel knn want to have first team games, but so lazy.

www SG

another amazing tactic by benching keane but playing el zhar instead.

winger who cannot dribble, cannot pass and cannot cross.

www SG

benitez claimed that liverpool can only win the title if the big teams mess up.

but i think liverpool can only lose the title considering that themselves mess up.

seems like they're proud to go to emirates stadium with 3 home games.

kopiosatu SG

el zhar is another idiot.

get yellow card for a stupid foul.

the liverpool reserves are condemned.

FirePig SG

Seems that liverpool continue to disappoint match after match, season after season. I realised that their players are still very desperate in front of goal.

They lack the composure that manutd and chelsea players have. Man utd and chelsea players have won epl before so drawing another match is like nothing to them. Whereas for liverpool, all of them go desperate at the 70th min and start blasting at goal when the ball is inside penalty box.

Well season is not over yet. I am very disappointed at liverpool's display. I am sure some liverpool fans will be feeling even worse.

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

wtf!!!! they sub on babel, el zhar and lucas those lousy arses. knn draw so many times no need to win epl liao la

www SG

players are understandbly to have off days.

but when they do, manager has the responsibility to take them out.

FirePig SG

shouldnt have field al zhar and lucas. Should have just fielded keane. Usually when strikers are fired up, they can do well. (unless the striker is super lousy)
