Outgoing: Peter Crouch (Man City) is the most likely to attract attention, at 6'7'', and could be brought in by former England boss Sven Goran-Eriksson. Javier Mascherano (Barcelona) has also caught the eye of Europe's elite, although doesn't actually belong to the Reds yet. Scott Carson and John Arne-Riise may leave for Aston Villa, as Liverpool may be forced to sell before they can buy.

Incoming: A good central defender is key to cover the Reds' backline, with Steven Taylor (Newcastle) and Ezequiel Garay (Racing Santander) linked. Pacey striker David Villa (Valencia) has expressed an interest, but would cost too much for the Reds' new owners, while James McCarthy (Hamilton Academical) could be one brought in for the future.

I think, keep mascherano first before shoring up the defence. Then the rest can talk….

sell sissoko…damned guy trips over the ball with no one challenging or closing down

tranquilX SG

Sissoko isn’t good enough for us and we should offload him asap if any clubs wants him.

I think momo will be away for the next two months for African Cup competition.

So, the fans have to endure for the 2nd half of the season.

As for Crouch and Mascherano, it would depend on the results of the meeting with the American owners.

Now with the weakening of the US dollars, the New Liverpool stadium is already put on hold.

Therefore, Liverpool will be lelonging players if they want to retain Mascherano and buy a centerback.

sell kewell and keep riise
kewell can only get injured in cup finals

Poolman SG

Mail got qualified meh ?

I think no leh ....

X-men SG

I agreed completely.

Crouch was brought in so that the team can have more options in attack (arial strike) so why sell him and eat yr own words ah Ben?

Mascherano is a MUST keep. I lost count on how many successful tackles he made. Stopping opponent's counter attackes.

Sell Kewell, he spend more time in sick bay than on the field. He pass his prime liao.

stellazio SG

i don't mind buying mascherano to replace makelele. Embarassed

but highly impossible, as he won't want to betray the liverpool team, and will most likely go to spain if he leaves liverpool. Sad

SBS9828X SG

babel very good can keep him for kengwel
