Poolman SG Liverpool 2nd .... Which means we will be facing Group winners .... Teams like Inter Milan Ac Milan Chelsea Sevilla / Arsenal Real Madrid Barcelona Man Utd I'm hoping we get Chelsea again .....
Medicated Oil SG Kengster link-up with Torres is the best so far. He knows the Big Boss is watching so he have to play hard to get a new contract and more MC. Torres is Liverpool's missing link. The team deployed tonight is Liverpool best 11 players. Ah Ben is lucky to get it right again. The team played excellently well in the 1st 15 mins when the opponents try to be very physical. Another Happy Dec morning for me !!! Same for Ah Ben. He need another match win against Red Devils to score his bonus with the American boss. We need Number 20 for Liverpool.
www SG its liverpool's day today. the only imperfect thing is porto won against besiktas. gerrard could have easily missed that penalty (technically, he missed) and it could be a different story. i was bracing for a nervy match till the very last minute but marseille is not in the mood to play football. the scoreline could have been 8-0 if not for all those close misses. just hope they aint that wasteful and complacent against man utd this coming weekend.
798 SG came back soaking wet after watching the match near my coffeeshop. it was completely one-sided n great display by liverpool. zenden and cisse last time pool players right? i think marseille used up all the subs in 1st half, dat's why they r tired out in the 2nd half. gerrard was clever to score the penalty after he missed from the rebound of marseille goalie. heard he was top scorer wif 23 goals. mr keng look very promising as left winger as he manages to win ball often from the opponent. i believe he will give ronaldog hell this saturday.
Medicated Oil SG I hope Liverpool meet AC Milan. This is the team we have to beat. Chelsea can come later. Beating Chelsea with Jose is more shiok.
798 SG dun think england team can face england team for the second round. chaoski n manure r top while liverpool n arsenal (very likely) r second spot. how bout revenge of UCL final? AC Milan vs Liverpool Barcalona vs Arsenal
Poolman SG Wow considering we missed Alonso , and without Finnan .... and Crouch ! MU are a worry lot now . Cos we're hign ion confidence , infront of goal or defense . Thanks to that Reading's defeat , it does woke up the lads a bit .
Poolman SG Liverpool now await the draw on December 21 knowing they'll face either Seville, Real Madrid, Inter, AC Milan or Barcelona
Poolman SG knn why must Liverpool always made our life so dificult ? If they already through , i can chose to sleep early , knn again .
CoolMyth SG I think we shall give Keng a "Pay-as-you-play" contract. If we give him an extension of a few years, I'm pretty positive he'll be injured again for that few years.
Medicated Oil SG http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_ce00XMTM1MTgzODg=.html Check out the four goals. This is another match that deserved watching as Liverpool put in a 5 star performance. I think Kengster should change his name as Mr Egg. It seems like Ah Ben have to substitute him at 60 mins every match he starts. He is more fragile than Torres. As for Babel, this guy got pace and eye for a goal. But, he play well as a substitute when the opponent defence are tired. Great initiative on Ah Ben in using him as a striker. http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_ce00XMjczMTE4OA==.html Imagine Jose doing the above trick to Ah Ben during last year CL match. It would be very interesting.
798 SG it's a great comeback nonetheless. the remaining 3 matches landed up a good scoreline after they play badly n gain 1 pt in 1st 3 matches.
Poolman SG Not a bad idea .... but i really don't think Kengwell would like that !!! I prefer we off-load him , cos of his wages , heard quite high .
tranquilX SG Kewell doing well you all why treat him like that He's our best left winger now even when he is not as fast as he used to be.
Poolman SG Abit sian leh ... come back play 3 games , injured again ! When we think he's back , then he's back into the sick-bay !
tranquilX SG But I hope he stays fit because he can play an important part in our title chase this season. He is already making an impact by providing some good assists. Without him, seriously we don't have very good options at the left wing. Neither Riise nor Babel isn't up to mark playing as a left winger.
