Potential Decider for Ah Ben's future in the next season. (By now, with the sacking of Wigan manager, Ah Ben's odds are pretty high)

Besiktas JK have no incentive to win at Anfield.

They can deploy 8 defenders and 2 strikers.

As for Liverpool, there will not be any best team line-up as there are none.

Most of the players are not playing their best and low in confidence.

Added with the pressure and the MUST to win this match, this bunch of players are too weak to stage a SURPRISE and STRONG comeback.

I am taking into considersation that Ah Ben will shoot some more bullets into his own wound by deploying some weird line-up causing the players to mis-communicate.

This is a surprise as we have actually beefed up the squad with some BIG NAME players with small skills.

So, watch this game with a strong heart and a big cup of COFFEE. (Masking your eyelids to open your eyes)

The interesting part of the game would be the last few minutes of the Anfield crowds showering their "feedback" to the "I Know Best" Ah Ben if we get booted out of Champion League soccer this morning.

I am not being negative about the football team that I support.

After watching the Devils and Gunners beating the hell out of each other, I have to admit that Liverpool cannot be seriously considered as title contender for this season.

now the bet is on whether can liverpool qualify to second round?

benitez has no idea dat Crouch > Kuyt. Evil or Very Mad

Poolman SG

I don't mind Liverpool going out on Group stage .

I also don't mind Liverpool sack Benitez .

I also don't mind we lose the grip on the BPL title .

When u are not good enough , u just don't deserve to be there !

Poolman SG

Benitez is not Untouchable ... juz that we don't have a new man , that can guarantee better than him .

Patrik SG

I dunno whether to hope that Liverpool goes thru and stays in the CL.
I doubt that Liverpool has the depth and skills to go all the way.
I would prefer them to be out of the CL and concentrate fully on the league.

CoolMyth SG

Lose even better...

I'm sick of Rafa's excuses...I want to see the day where he admits he cannot bring this Liverpool team to greater heights. Wink

There is a best seller by the name "1 minute manager"

I am proud to announce that the Liverpool production have made the latest block-blaster "3 season manager Part 1 & Part 2" DVD with DTS sound.

Part 1 lead - Ah Hou

Part 2 lead - Ah Ben

Both are elited and successful managers in their own homeland.

Both are Cup winners for Liverpool.

One build the solid foundation of a team, one collapses the foundation of a team by merry-go-around.

Both are saviours to all soccer fans with insomnia.

Both have created a trend of bringing your pillow for every match cos you never know when you will fall flat.

So, place your order soon as the pre-order is selling like hot dogs !!!!

This is Benitez’s last chance , if Liverpool fails to win. I will certainly want him out .

Peter Crouch has been restored to Liverpool's attack for tonight's all-important Champions League clash with Besiktas.
The England international will lead the line alongside Andriy Voronin as the Reds go in search of their first victory in Group A.

Fabio Aurelio will also start while Fernando Torres has recovered from his adductor injury and has been named on the substitutes' bench along with Dutchman Dirk Kuyt.

Team in full: Reina, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Hyypia, Carragher, Mascherano, Gerrard, Benayoun, Riise, Voronin, Crouch. Subs: Martin, Finnan, Kewell, Torres, Babel, Lucas, Kuyt.

so far so good.
can sense that the players have finally realised the importance of this tie. if only they rem how to play with such enthusiasm right from game 1.

btw, result from the other side doesnt look too favourable.
