Simple answer : We are good , that's all ! One word , GOOD !!!!

Poolman SG

When Liverpool FC renew ties with AC Milan on 23 May in Athens it will be the fifth time that two clubs have faced each other in more than one European Champion Clubs' Cup final.

Memories of Istanbul
Liverpool, who eliminated Chelsea FC on penalties on Tuesday, 24 hours before Milan brushed aside Manchester United FC in their semi-final, were the winners when the teams met in Istanbul in 2005. On what was an unforgettable night for the Reds, they overturned a 3-0 half-time deficit and eventually triumphed on penalties to lift the European Cup for the fifth time. Should they also prevail at the Olympic Stadium in three weeks' time, the Anfield side would join the Rossoneri on six successes.

Too good la AC Milan tonight . Just fantastic !

They just whacked 6 goals past almost EPL Champion Man Utd in 2 matches .

That show how good they were .

Honestly , i am going to be very afraid .

Poolman SG

My heart wanted a Liverpool vs MU Final , but my head said AC Milan .....

Milan vs Liverpool...I cant wait!!! Mr. Green

Kuali Baba SG

I do think Liverpool have the edge, though my heart wants Milan to win this.

Kuyt and Crouch are quality strikers, and Gerrard had the upper hand in Istanbul then. And Stam was in our line-up too, but not now.

The communication between Kaladze and Nesta was good in tonight's game, definitely better than Bonera/Nesta.

Seedorf plays a bigger role now and that's a plus.

I hope Milan wins this...to avenge for the loss.

And I think a large part might depend on Rafa's tactics that day... Rolling Eyes

Very Happy

HISTORY IN ON OUR SIDE

Kuali Baba SG

Definitely!

Our striking department is not as strong now, but with Seedorf playing a more attacking role and Ambrosini acting as an extra anchor, there's an improvement.

Poolman SG

My heart wanted a MU , why ? Cos it's my long-time childhood dream .

My head said AC Milan , why ? Cos AC Milan is an easier opponent compared to MU .

Against MU, AC Milan has got only one objective - to beat MU and meet Liverpool , and REVENGE !!!!!

Patrik SG

This is definitely the best week for me in 2007.
Very Happy

I tell u milan fans will have pool's club song stucked in their head forever. Laughing

T.Ryousuke SG

AC look like gonna win it this time.

deathscythe99 SG

Yes!!!

I think their 'Xmas Tree' lineup works...so far..

Kaka's been absolutely brilliant so far!!! Woohoo!!!

Trump_Card SG

Seconded.... Cool

Poolman SG

No worries ..... let's hope everyone pick Milan as favourite .....

And we Underdog ......

We always did well when tagged underdog .

Base on performance .... AC will be tagged favourite .

But one record everyone mustn't forget .....

When one team can beat Barcelona , they more or less will go on to win the Trophy .

Kuali Baba SG

But not Juventus of 2002/03...

Poolman SG

it will be the same old story .....

back in 2005 , second half , 0-3 down , Rafa sent in Didi Hamann to put a check on Kaka , it works well .....

If Didi can do a job at a age of 31 that time .....

what about Mascherano ? Our destroyer Momo Sissoko ? or Super Man-Marker Arbeloa ? This 3 can certainly do a job .

AC Milan is about putting a stop on Kaka , stop Kaka , u stop Milan !

The press would have a field day selling their papers writing about the revenge for 2005 CL finals.

In terms of skill and team, Liverpool have the lousy team.

In terms of age, Liverpool is the younger team.

In term of hunger, AC Milan have more reasons to beat Liverpool.

So, it is hard to say who will win the final.

As I always say, Ah Ben have to get his tactics right another time or else bye bye liao.

Kuali Baba SG

Changes, changes since that final...

Liverpool (unlikely to feature or out): Dudek, Baros, Garcia, Traore, Cisse, Hamann, Kewell

Liverpool (new): Bellamy, Crouch, Kuyt, Agger, Sissoko, Mascherano, Aurelio, Arbeloa, Reina

Milan (unlikely to play or out): Stam, Maldini, Shechenko, Pirlo, Tomasson, Rui Costa, (to start) Cafu, Costacurta

Milan (in): Gilardino, Oddo, Jankulovski, Favalli, Bonera, Oliveira, Gourcuff
