Unsettled Real Madrid striker Ronaldo is being linked with a shock
move to Liverpool.
DiarioSport says Ronaldo, who is desperate to quit Real, is a
favourite of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, whose company,
Dubai International Capital, is on the verge of completing a £450
million takeover of Liverpool.
Sheikh Mohammed wants to celebrate the buy-out by delivering
Ronaldo to Liverpool fans before the end of this month's market.
With the Brazilian not Cup-tied from the Champions League, DIC
chiefs are convinced Ronaldo's signing would boost the club's last
chance of winning a trophy this season.
