Poolman SG

Liverpool are on the right form at the right time .....

The best December performance since the beginning of the EPL ....

We finally saw the fruits of our manager tinkering of the squad , it works , and it works very well .

The players are in the right frame of mind towards every game .

And most are fully fit .

Arsenal are in trouble .....

Playing at Anfield makes the matter worst for Arsenal ....

We will win ..... easily ! 3-0 .

gdgd

hope arsenal lose

maybe then the stingy board will finally invest in some new players

and wenger will wake up and buy some proven players

ghimpheng SG

you should combine the Carling Cup match together with this thread

but anyway i think Arsenal will win the Carling Cup 1 while Liverpool will win the FA Cup 1

both play on Anfield

As Arsenal Treat these cup competitions not as serious as LFC as they would put almost whole team will be 2nd string and Liverpool will play a mix of 1st team players and reserves in both match

798 SG

i think Arsenal might win tis time comparing to the postpone match in dec i predicted. Twisted Evil

reason: they want to erase off their losing streak n they have more rest comparing to pool.

iveco SG

I don't think the GUnners have a stingy board. More likely, they do not have the cash.

felirox SG

so OVER-CONFIDENT. Rmb man,the ball in round.

ghimpheng SG

1 cup each la

i don't think liverpool will win both nor arsenal but of course liverpool stand much higher chances of winning both since they are @ home twice

felirox SG

Errr..i dun want to comment much further but just lets see uh wad will happen. Wink

It is a good test for Ah Ben to beat Arsenal.

Ah Ben have not been able to beat arsenal since his arrival at Anfield.

Liverpool was able to beat Bolton as they were suffering from fatigue.

As for the coming match on Sunday morning, I think Ah Ben would have the temptation to tinker Stevie on the right and sissoko on the center if momo have recovered.

The striker force up front is still weak as none of the strikers are actually on fire at the moment.

Only Garcia's crazy flip should be able to beat Arsenal.

So, if Liverpool would to lose, Ah Ben should be the cause.

We have to remember Henry is not fully match fit yet.

Poolman SG

Surprised Sissoko coming back ? Good news , if Sissoko come back , i smell more trouble for Arsenal ..... cos with Sissoko and Alonso in midfield , mean Steven Gerrard has got back his license to roam ... when Gerrard is roaming everywhere , he can possessed extra threat to Gunner's defense .

felirox SG

and if henry 100% match fit, he will also cause trouble to pool's defence.

kpo SG

i'm pretty sure we will see robbie start a match ... maybe even lead the team out ... the dude, warnock, aurelio, gonzales, peltier, guthrie may get some game time ... lindfield may get a place on the bench?

Poolman SG

The team list u listed is more suitable for Carling Cup , we'll see more of a first team for this particular FA Cup tie .

Poolman SG

Dun be surprsied Henry is not feature for this match , too risky to play him half fit . Arsenal need him to bring Arsenal into the Champions' league .

As for this match , who win the midfield battle , who'll win the match .

Poolman SG

Arsenal are set to miss 3 of their key stalwarts for this Saturday's FA Cup 3rd Round game against Liverpool.

Emmanuel Adebayor is still injured, whilst Robin van Persie is suspended.

Joining van Persie on the suspension list is Cesc Fabregas who inflicted an ugly late tackle on Sheffield United's Alan Quinn last Saturday that earned him a yellow card.

liverpool win 1-0. Laughing

but when u expect them to do sth, they always spring surprises right.

Poolman SG

Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy is fit to return after shaking off his recent groin injury.

Bolo Zenden returned to training this week but is still some way from full fitness, while Mohamed Sissoko and Harry Kewell remain sidelined.

Arsenal are without the suspended Cesc Fabregas, but Julio Baptista and Emmanuel Eboue return to the squad.

Theo Walcott, Adebayor, Freddie Ljungberg, William Gallas and Abou Diaby remain on the road to recovery

why did i say Arsenal in trouble against us at Anfield ?

Simple fact , we have got Crouch and Hyypia to torment them with our very own set-pieces , and they only have Senderoos to contain our twin tower , u smells trouble ?

I do .
