Postives of Lampard

Why is everyone slating lampard. England did enough to win the
game, they just didnt take their chances. More to blame is the
finishing of Gary Neville and Peter Crouch! I for one would play
the same team for Wednesday!

"I really am tired of the campaign of hate shown towards Frank
Lampard because of cowboy journalists, The bitter, middle aged
press reps are doing their best to warp the publics perception of
the game beyond recognition, so keep on and massage the tabliod
press collective ego and the England team will be weaker as A
result of this flippancy.
A man can only take so much of unjistfied Criticsm and it is plain
to see the public campaign against Lampard is affecting his
Confidence, never once the did the Newspapers express that Gerrards
permanent lack of form for England might eventually lose his place
in the team in euro 2004 when Lampard was voted by our fickle fans
has our best player, It all goes back to the world cup When the
media (chelsea haters) who by the way mostly support Liverpool
could not take the fact that Lampard was taking his crown, now
everytime Lampard has A avergae game, The media exgerate the truth
and its all U that read Cant stand up and be strong enough to make
up your own minds"

I just finished reading an article about Lampard, that he started
to doubt himself after the World Cup because he didn't score,
didn't play particularly well and began to listen to the public's
view.
It hit me quite hard - we forget that footballers are people, and
people are totally lambasting players like Lampard it affects them,
and destroys their confidence.
I never really thought about it until now. This'll be the last time
I come on and b*tch about players, instead we should think of ways
they can improve rather than say 'OUT OUT OUT.'
And as for Frank, he's finally got the lead role in centre midfield
on wednesday, so with the right selection, I expect good things
from England.
