hope they dont squad rotate again -_-'

should really give luis garcia a chance. he's better in champs league and his killer passes are not bad.

Poolman SG

Galatasaray got any dangerman ?

I follow abit of their league form , no good leh , they not consistent ........

Benitez's UCL philosophy is simple , two wins and three draws are good enough to progress , so a win against Gala and Bordeaux at home will be good enough , let's say , good enough for the next phase .

Rafa set to tinker again 'to protect players'

LIVERPOOL, England, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez defended his rotation policy on Tuesday after failing to name the same team for 93 games in succession.

Benitez is expected to change his line-up once more when Liverpool play Galatasaray in the Champions League at Anfield on Wednesday.

'Sometimes you have to protect players even if they don't like it,' Benitez told reporters.

'They want to play in every game but I have to look at the bigger picture.

'You can't play 65 games a season and sometimes it is better to keep players fresh for the end of the season and games where you can win trophies.'

Liverpool have not won any of their last five Champions League games and if they do not beat Galatasaray in the Group C match they will record their worst Champions League run.

'You can talk about statistics but we have changed players since last year and the statistics will change,' Benitez said.

'We had a good draw at PSV (Eindhoven) and now we must win our home games. If we do that we will qualify.'

tranquilX SG

wow so fast 2-0 Mr. Green

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

liverpool can sit back n defend Laughing

Poolman SG

More like central , a bit holding just infront of Alonso , attacking were done by Aurelio , Pennant , Garcia , Kuyt and crouch , more or less a wing attacking formation .

Poolman SG

Our weak link were on the left defense , Aurelio ….. as usual …... forget yet again he’s a left back tonight .

Poolman SG

Don't think so , cos they need a big win for goal difference .

I think it'll be a 4-0 victory .

798 SG

i have a feeling kuyt and crouch might be interesting together upfront, both tall n will pose aerial threat to the opposition.

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

ya. since we draw against PSV we must get not only 3pts but a bigger win

Poolman SG

Crouch is the man tonight , the tallest player among the 22's .
