RSP SG Nice to see that Alonso rediscovering his form...his past performances haven't been to inspiring... Garcia looks bright in midfield...and the front two is full of running.. Nice play that set up the good goal from Kuyt...and not surprisingly, it came from one of the few times Liverpool really went out wide... Newcastle haven't got going yet...
RSP SG Babayaro's slapping of Kuyt should have been a red card....and a penalty...he virtually punched him in the face...
anhydrouscoppersulphate SG i still think liverpool wasting chances.. should have score more than 2 nevertheless a very improved team from the past weeks, might be a result from a scolding from ah ben
ghimpheng SG Liverpool 2 - 0 Newcastle United 29' Dirk Kuijt { 1 - 0 } 79' Xabi Alonso { 2 - 0 } Newcastle should have deserve 2 penalties and Newcastle are really unlucky not to get it
anhydrouscoppersulphate SG lets all observe a one minute silence in all the epl matches this sat to mourn for newcastle deserving those penalties and not getting it. DUH.
Patrik SG Originally posted by Poolman: My Man-Of-The-match = Xabi Alonso My man of the match-Luis Garcia He was lively thru out the game and was unlucky not to score when his volley hit the post. His movement was fantastic and i jus love seeing him get past the opponents.
The man who was death SG beckham's one still better, fa cup was when gk not at goal and then newcastle was harper slipped. beckham one just caught sullivan off his line. remb sullivan was beaten by david batty also near halfway line.
anhydrouscoppersulphate SG no la.. some ridiculous ppl will come in then start a descriptive essay will say how great lampard provided a GREAT ball to drogba last week and how he EXECUTES it turns 180 degrees before he ROCKETS it into the corner of the net and with reina ABSOULTELY STUNNED and THE GREATEST KEEPER IN THE WORLD CANT SAVE THAT WONDERFUL SHOT. then goes on to talk about how alonso's goal was so tyco with keeper out of line and and was tripped and the goal doesnt impress him... and how the GREAT lampard can do the same or even better...
ghimpheng SG i did not say alonso goal was tyco i think alonso's goal was a excellent and can be the goal of the season but i think that drogba's goal is really unstoppable as today TigerFC lockeroom the 2 "experts" agreed that drogba'goal was unstoppable as he turned fast and shoot with great power and accuracy excellent technique
