Liverpool's Sissoko targets derby
return
tribalfooball.com - September 04, 2006
Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko will declare himself fit for this
weekend's derby against Everton.
The Mali midfielder looked set for a lengthy lay-off after limping
out of the Champions League qualifier against Maccabi Haifa with
damaged knee ligaments.
Yet he has made such stunning progress that boss Rafa Benitez
believes he could be available for the lunchtime trip across
Stanley Park to face Everton on Saturday.
There are still major doubts, though, over the fitness of Jamie
Carragher and John Arne Riise. Both are rated doubtful for the
Goodison Park trip.
Neither player has been able to train properly since damaging
ankles in the opening day draw at Sheffield United and each has no
more than a 50 per cent chance of facing the old
enemy.
good news for LFC thier solid DMF is
back ! and I change my predictions 1-1 Draw =D
