Liverpool is like the Singapore Team.
When they meet strong team, they play like strong team.
When they meet weak opponent, they play like slackers.
So, it is in the mind of the players.
Cup tie - meet stronger team and field stronger team.
League - field different players to avoid fatigue and injury.
(Strange in 2001 & 2005 when Liverpool was worse hit by
injuries, they won the UEFA and CL Cup with almost the same
team)
Therefore, Liverpool does not have the depth of the squad and heart
of the champion to win the League title.
