edi_77777 SG Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez and chief executive Rick Parry will attend a hearing today which will decide whether Mark Gonzalez has been given a work permit. The Chile winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Sociedad after Liverpool failed in their attempts to win a work permit for the 21-year-old, who was signed from Spanish side Albacete. A panel assembled by the Department for Education and Employment will determine the case, with Liverpool hopeful the player has now proven his suitability to play in the Premiership with his performances in Spain this year. Are we finally have Gonzalez playing for us next season? Watch this space... And just abit of extra.... Liverpool midfielder Bruno Cheyrou is close to a move to Rennes. Cheyrou is surplus to requirements at Anfield after spending last season in France on-loan with Bordeaux. Are we finally selling off the 'next zidane'??
Patrik SG How did Bruno Cheyrou ever earn that comparison is what i wanna know. An insult to Zidane,i must say. Anyway pray that Mark Gonzales is coming. He is exciting!!!!!
edi_77777 SG Ask Houllier! Every guy he buy is the 'new someone'.. Anyway talking about transfer, Liverpool have been quite low profile.. I thought we are getting Aimar but no sound no music.. How about trying our luck at Klose or Podolski? I love to see them play for us...
Agenda SG Klose is a header kinda of player while Podolski has already signed to FC Bayern from Koln.. Gonzalez has broken into the the FIFA player rankings, He is currently top 70
Poolman SG Yeah man , this Podolski is a strong lad ..... fast and strong , can't really tagged him down easily . He is made for the Premiership , maybe Klinnsman should tell him , England is the place for him , and not Germany .
Poolman SG Every manager has a vision for players , Houller has his vision spot-on too , players like Hyypia . Sad enough , his so-said French-Next-Zidane-or-next-Makelele don't really work out in the Premiership , maybe Houllier's French Vision is only good at France .
Poolman SG Funny enough , Houllier has got some goods non-french players ,who has been contributing quite a fair share of success for Liverpool . Smicer ..... Biscan ..... Hamann ..... Dudek ..... Baros .... Finnan ...... Henchoz ..... just to name some .
Agenda SG they are already in.. if you read the fifa site, gonzalez has made it into fifa player list because of his efforts in preventing soceidad's relegation battle
