Coming from 3-0 down to win the CL is a FLUKE? Then MAN U come
back is also a FLUKE? So what consitutes a great comeback and what
constitutes a FLUKE? As long its MAN U, it is a great comeback? If
it is LIVERPOOL, then it is a FLUKE?
Let me give you ENGLISH LESSON. WHAT IS FLUKE?
fluke
n.
1. A stroke of good luck.
2. A chance occurrence; an accident.
So tell me.....
When Liverpool scored all 3 goals in the CL FINAL, were there very
obvious signs of very good luck? Did the ball suddenly fly and
bounced off GERRAD's head into the goal? No. Gerrad headed the ball
into the net with intent.
For the 2nd goal, did like a dog run across Dida's path and blocked
his view and was unable to get down fast enuff to save Smicer's
shot? Nope. Smicer took a shot and Dida was blocked by his own
defenders. He was abit fat also, so could not get down fast enuff.
FLUKE? hardly.
For the 3rd goal, did the liverpool player slipped on the banana
skin, fell down himself in the penalty box but referee was blind
and gave a penalty? Nope. He was fouled in the box and so a penalty
was given. It was not a FLUKE.
So before you said the CL FINAL WIN is a fluke. Please understand
the word first. I must count MAN U win over BAYERN as one of the
greatest simply becos of the climax it gives to the fans....imagine
BAYERN thinking they had it in their bags but losing it in the last
minute. Was it a fluke? Nope. MAN U worked hard for their 2 goals.
So, before you say LIVERPOOL win is a FLUKE, think twice again.
