Anyway I believe he is playing behind the striker which i think is a good position for him based on how well he did for Liverpool when playing there.. Explosive runs from deep.. 40 yard pass.. thunder shot from 35yards?! He is a really complete midfielder, one of the best in the world now..
CoolMyth SG Gerrard is more suited to the role Paul Scholes did in the past. Play in the "hole" for England. His best is his powerful running in from midfield and confusing the defence with his passing or shooting. He definitely cannot be a striker waiting to receive the ball upfield.
Poolman SG The England's midfield , there will be a hole liao ..... I thought Lampard 's form not getting right this season , if last season is WC year , then he's good , but this year ? Must depends on whether the Englands midfield can supply him the ammunition or not ..... or else no point ....
