If thats the case why am i still not seeing the money?

Maybe you don't fall into their definition of poor.

I also recall that LKY said that there are no poor in Singapore.

Kind of contradict himself.

Maybe poor equals to Ministers.

u din know what is ERP?

well, it is the world record solution that all countries should use to address the traffic congestion problem.

see, sg no traffic congestion problem leh. pay erp worth it lah, so cheap and nice.

gigabyte14 SG

u put aluminium foil, and u dun have to pay erp already Mr. Green

the ERP is so solid tuakong tuakong that
no, if not, not many, countries have tried implementing it yet.

I think they are still awed by the results of sg ERP.

That they still could not belif how solid it is. how effective it is in ,not collecting revenue nor spreading traffic jams to elsewhere, but making traffic congestion a thing of the past.

wah len eh, which bombastic talent came up with this top scorer huh?

TS, basically how the ERP works is very simple.

Every Road Pay

Big brother Everyday Rob People

Therefore, big brother everyday Profit And Profit

While we become Poorer And Poorer

And a situation of Everyday a Richer Party controlling the nation takes place

Eventually, we will be so poor that next time when we eat mee siam, we cannot afford to add hum to it.

Understood?

Dun like that lah.

Those who support will support .
In a democracy, there is no need to be yes man. Can choose to disagree.
Agree can support.
Disagree need not support.

What decision you make will have an impact . think twice.

for very obvious reasons, I am officially saying I support. Its up to you to belif of the me . Do you belif what I say? Wink

Actually, does Singapore really have a Democracy? Not totally I suppose.

Well for obvious reasons I say that I support the party in charge also. But I don't necessarily agree to some of their policies.

Like the ERP, I agree that it helps congestion to a certain extent. However, I refuse to believe that the govt is not taking the chance to fatten their pockets also. Surprised

ERP not meant to be understood. The sole purpose is to ensure that there is enuff money to pay ministers.

I think its either solving the traffic congestion problem or it does not.

which is it?

easing ? by how much? easing in road A, will that cause Road B to absorb the cars that did not go into road A given the number of cars in a car remain constant? simple maths right?

which is it? Solved or not?

Unfortunately I don't think anyone can say whether ERP has solved congestion to a large or small extent. What I can say is that it probably has slightly eased the problem on the road ERP is being implemented on.

However, this alleviation of this problem obviously will cause a congestion on the alternate routes. One does not have to be a rocket scientist to know that.

So what I can say is that on roads where ERP is implemented, I believe that there is an easing of the congestion there. Not solved, just eased. By how much I cannot tell unless someone give me a counter and pay me to stand at the gantry there to count the number of vehicles passing by duing the ERP period.

The thing is I feel that big brother sees the congestion at alternate routes due to the ERP as a separate problem from the one they set out to solve in the first place and shouldn't be placed in the same room of discussion. They are either can't be bothered or just not capable enough to come out with creative solutions to act on the root of the problem.
