Hi all, my company is having a d&d next week and the theme
is 90s ah bengs & ah lians. I am thinking of dressing up as an
ah beng, but have no idea how does one looks like. I have tried
google but to no avail. Can someone please describe to me how 90s
ah beng dress himself? How is his hairstyle like? Thanks.
From my experience with the ah bengs in the 90s, 1) Centre parting
with coloured hair and long fringe 2) If you remember the famous
T-shirt called 'No Rules' or 'No Fear' (Those born in the 80s will
know). 3) Sharp comb with long wallet. 4) Walk with arm swinging.
5) Sitting posture on the chair with either of the feet stepping
onto the chair. 6) Wear a hairband (Serious! This is what we do
when our hair is long). 7) If you are allowed on smoking and
scolding vuglarities during your d&d then it would be even more
like one. That's the most of the things which they all do, the rest
