Poolman SG

Not really la bro.

I'm sure one macth is tele cast on ESPN and the other on StarSports .

For those without MAxTV , i'm also sure that TCS-5 will also telecast one of this two matches , most likely Chelsea vs Barcelona . Commentator : Mark Richmond ! Confused

i hope they can telecast arsenal vs RM match in this case. Mr. Green

mafia v barca - match of the round ... hard to pick the winners but i'll go for barca ...

madrid v gunners - gunners to go thru ... cos they'll be allowed to play football rather than being kicked around ...

bremen v juve - juve

munich v milan - milan to go thru cos they're my 2nd team ... kaka and ballack, delicious ...

psv v lyon - psv, hiddink factor ...

ajax v inter - ajax, if they can stop adriano ...

benfica v liverpool - reds, if yokohama doesn't strike twice ...

rangers v villarreal - villareal ...

Poolman SG

What about Lyon , Houllier factor ? Mr. Green

kpo SG

Mr. Green

Redz SG

Dun pray-pray....he's actually doing quite well at Lyon.

But the real test cums in the UCL....so let's wait n see Confused

kpo SG

yes he has done very well so far, especially in the champs league ... i watched them thrash real madrid and i was impressed, and very glad too Wink ...

domestically, he inherited a champion team so it probably wasn't as difficult for him ...

it'll be interesting to see how he copes if they suffer a loss of form ...

i'd still wish him good luck though ... actually, it'd be really interesting if we should meet lyon ...

Poolman SG

I'm glad most Liverpool fans has now forgotten about Houllier , who has brought good times and bad times to Liverpool .

I'm glad he laid some good foundations at training ground Melwood and Benitez has gained some training facilities from him .

I've forgotten more bad things than good things about Houllier at Anfield .

Redz SG

I dun tink he planned 2 fail....in fact he was doing alrite till those failed signings juz b4 the World Cup. Tat prove 2b a grave mistake....and he never recovered fm it! Sad

I still tink he's a good manager....maybe juz not good enuff for our cause!

Poolman SG

Yeah ! I remember you support Houllier even when everyone seemed to want his head .

You seemed to support whoever in the hot seat .

The problems with us fans we don't seem to remember success , but we never forget failure , u got the point ?

He did well with some good signings until he signed Diuof and Diao , who both this 2 Senegalese digged Houllier's grave . Bruno Cheyrou also another expensive failure , until now Cheyrou still can't find any success elsewhere .

I still have to thank him for bringing in Hamman...Smicer .... Litmanen .... Hyypia....brought up Gerrard..... Baros ......Cisse .

Without Hamann and Smicer ..... who knows who's the eventual winner of European Cup @ Istanbul .

kpo SG

true ...
i gave up on him in his final season ... cannot tahan anymore ...
like redsy said, houllier was not good enough for us ...
but good luck to him, except when he plays us Very Happy

kpo SG

that's why i respect redsy ... he didn't agree with houllier, but gave him full support when he was manager ...

Redz SG

Hou hou houllier!!! *3 cheers to him*

But now is Rafa Rafa Rafa Rafa Rafa Rafa.......all the way! And few wld argue tat we have now a legend in the making! Very Happy

Poolman SG

True .... can't agree more .....

Liverpool's X'mas results has always been a nightmare for him since i started supported them back nearly 20 yrs ago .

Now not only did we have more fixtures than before , we fared better , it's a mystery on how Benitez did it where other L'pool manager can't .

This Benitez are going to become L'pool very best manager . Even better than Bill Shankly I believe , one day . Hope I can live to see that happen .

ghimpheng SG

Wish that Arsenal can win the Champion League XD but predict that Juventus will win the champion league
