That's true but that's the least that should be done.
It's definitely better than having them get off scot free.
Plus suspensions could hurt the club more than the player. Moreover
in this case, with Makelele out injured, if Essien were to be
suspended, Chelsea will have a hole in midfield to make up for.
That's only good news for non-Chelsea fans.
