does this mean that Baros will score??

Poolman SG

We controlled the game in typical fashion .

Possession wise , it's maybe 54-46 , we had a bigger share of possession .

The current formation is the best formation this season , 3 win out of 3 !

The midfield maestro of Gerrard , Alonso , Momo and Garcia - Effective !

I wouldn't be surprise if we cintinue wnnning the next few games with this 11's .

Poolman SG

Villa played like they’d just played a midweek fixture in Europe . They looked shack !

overall it's still 3 points in the bag though i feel liverpool deserved to win this match as they have the greater possession and the greater chances. Though the penalty was a fifty-fifty chance, luck was on our side this time. well done reds, first away win of the season! Smile a beautiful goal by alonso!

Angel not small guy lah, he's our tallest striker!! and he has a good jump as well, all our striker small mah luke moore also small, i think o'leary should play de la cruz on the right not davis, davis good in the middle.

the pen crouch also got lean in to ridgewell leh

dragg SG

villa is like a chicken without a head.

damn lousy team.

anyone noticed cisse like to act like he is the most important player? he is always whining.

The man who was death SG

not ahck lah just low on confidence and conviction, the first half was quite even and the second half there was a 10min period where it was all villa and angel should've square the ball for baros to score lah!!!!!!!!!!

Poolman SG

Ya la , but the benefits of doubts always goes to the offensive team , ie L'pool .

If Ridgewell is inside L'pool's penalty box , and Crouch leaned on him , i'm sure some ref will give a penalty to Villa .

Maybe Hyypia and Crouch makes those players looked so small . Laughing

Nabei i'm now in the lowest point in being a villa fan, only steven davis is worth talking abt this season. Crying or Very sad even fulham is better than us now, dunno why the whole midlans so crappy this season

don't worry man. villa have many good players who are just off form at the
moment. I thought baros played okay today. Well maybe o'leary should have
played lee henrie from the start. His long range shots are always a threat.
And gareth barry i feel is a good player but he has a relatively quiet game today. Then again, maybe they shouldn't have sold vassell.

abit more possession does not mean anything and liverpool took abit of control of the game during the 1st half but villa dominated the 2nd half and started to blast shots @ Reina And thier lack of quality and first touch make them missing open chances @ goal and really sad that villa lose cause villa @ least deserve a draw to punish the champion of Europe.

dragg SG

though they won liverpool did not actually play well.

against a team as lousy as villa they took 85 mins to score from a penalty. it could easily have ended goalless.

CoolMyth SG

Sometimes, you played well, you might lose in the end.

Sometimes, you don't play well, but you got the 3 points. That's all that matters. Cool

Redz SG

Tat's the mark of a good team 2 Mr. Green

Ya we didn't play well, but lucky Villa were worse! Any on song team wld've murdered either one Evil or Very Mad

For us, it's a good result...1st win in 2 yrs - both away n after a European game Very Happy We can oso say Crouch won us the game....he cld've scored a couple but no luck. Perhaps someone shd steal MU's diet for Ronaldo....look at him now, physically! Rolling Eyes

Redz SG

Well, u're most welcum 2 turn Reds Mr. Green ...but then, we oso hv many low points 2 - both fm the team's performance n fm reading comments fm "fans" n foes here Evil or Very Mad

I dunno wat's wrong with Villa but at times, they do play alrite. The goalie was solid 2....but can't say so abt the defence - are some regulars missing?! I tink if O'lily gets his defence rite....u shd see some results; coz the MF and strikers are not bad. I remember tis German chap who can score some good long shots....wat happened 2 him?

Good luck 2 Villa!

X-men SG

Crouch STILL don't worth £7 million. He seriously needs to improve. Looks slow to react when good balls are played to him.

Penalty? No Penalty? Wrong decision? Right decision? well.... this is what soccer is all about. Mr. Green Luck and Ref plays a part too.

dragg SG

but most of the time they dont play well.

Embarassed

ghimpheng SG

Jamie Carragher Saved the match for Liverpool or else Aston villa could have fire in like 2 goals.Steven Gerrard did not do as much as jamie carragher certainly….....

X-men SG

To me Jamie Carragher is the best Liverpool player. Mr. Green

Poolman SG

Thomas Helzerberger ? Something like that .... he transfer to one club in The Bundesliga liao , think it's Hamburg .

Ya man , Villa is crazy to sell him away .
