Liverpool Thrashed Anderlecht as predicted and Chelsea lose to real betis by 1-0 shocking lose but look @ Chelsea manager comment after losing.

Title : Humbled Mourinho: We deserved shock loss

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admitted his side were deservedly beaten by Real Betis in Seville.

The Barclays Premiership champions were defeated 1-0 by a goal from Dani after 28 minutes, their first defeat in the competition this season.

'We have nothing to argue with, we have no defence because the performance in the first half was too bad,' Mourinho told ITV4.

'Betis deserved the victory because of their attitude in the first half and how they defended in the second half.'

He added: 'We have to look at ourselves, to what didn't work, and try to sort it.

'We are a great team. We weren't a great team tonight but if we are a great team we have to return to our standards.'

It’s an interesting fact that Chelsea has failed to win an away game in the Champions League for more than a year.

You know what makes a great manager.....

one who can say his team played badly when they are really playing badly.

That is the problem with Benetez....... when Liverpool is playing badly, he just can't admit it.

i don't get it..why do people give chelsea soo much flak for losing a single game esp in a european competition..even if liverpool were to lose one single match as the european champions,i doubt they will receive even half as much as what chelsea are getting.. Laughing

come on lah

just because Liverpool won one match, and suddenly it is the Rise of Liverpool while just because Chelsea lost one match, suddenly it is their fall?

I do not like chelsea but still i would not say they are already falling.

Well , this is football .

It's more dificult to play football when every opponent played extremely cautious , defensive and focus .

It's even more difficult when opponent knows how good u are .

Chelsea is meeting Man Utd on Sunday.

Unless Keane is playing, which is impossible after the complaint he made on the rest of his team mates.

I really dun see how Man Utd can overcome Chelsea.

After seeing Man Utd play this morning, I think Alex have lost the grip of his players as the second half is worse than the first half.

Man Utd is very dis-organised.

Chelsea dun become lousy just because of losing one match.

As for Liverpool, it meant nothing if they are still struggling against team like Fulham.

No one is very sure that they will win against Aston Villa this sat.

Just ask the punters.

The only thing that I can say about Liverpool is that Nando, Cisse and Crouch are not suitable to be the lone striker for the 4-5-1 system.

Ah Ben is STARTING to realise that the team gel better with the 4-4-2 system.

So, I just hope that they carry on the good work with the 4-4-2 system and stop playing useless long ball.

a bit too early to brag.

liverpool has to get at least a point from the following games against chelsea and real betis.

note that anderlecht is the whipping boy in this group.

nevertheless, this shows chelsea is not the best team as proclaimed by mouriho and makalele.

The best team can suffer defeat. The best team will know how to overcome adversity. Can't wait for tonight's match against Manure and the CL return leg against Pool. Then we will see if Chelsea is the one of best team around now.

By the way, if Chelsea is not the best team in Endland or Europe now, who is ??

they are still the best team in europe currently I guess they are hot favourite to win the EPL and champion league......losing 2 game and drawing 1 game and win 1 in last 4 match is not so bad consider they won how many matches already and bookies are already paying out to pple who bought Chelsea to be the EPL Champion this season and Chelsea is listed top 1st favourite to land the champion league trophy...
