Portsmouth 1 - Danny Murphy 2

Poolman SG

How on earth did Benitez released Murphy to Charlton , hope he saw what Murphy did to Charlton last 5 away matches , 5 out of 5 , splendid achievement .

What a real slap on his face .

He's the man solely responsible for last night's win at Pompey .

Luis Garcia stand aside , Murphy is the man .

Benitez released Murphy ar?I thought it was GH..But at Pool Murphy wasn't known to be a playmaker leh.. Laughing

Poolman SG

No la , Benitez met Murphy and told Murphy he has no future plan for him , and if Murphy wants to stay at Anfield , he must be content with a place in just the bench . Cos Benitez had plan for Luis Garcia . Sucks man !

RSP SG

That's right.

I wonder why Rafa released Murphy. Plus only for 2.5 million pounds!

Charlton were lucky to get Murphy.

dragg SG

i dont understand why he sold murphy too.

Ah Ben was aware of the British gang, Gerrard, Murphy & Owen in the Liverpool squad.

That is why he is breaking the gang up by selling Owen & Murphy.

He dun want to be hold ransom by the local gang.

No surprise that Owen will never be a REDS again if Ah Ben is around.

Not forgeting that Murphy actually saved Liverpool from numerous free kick and penalty.

When you make mistakes in forming your team, you have to pay the price.

I believe Ah Ben is still clueless why he lost and he is hinting that the strikers are not working hard enough.

stellazio SG

thing is danny murphy will never star in the liverpool team..he's a star in a team of average and good players..but not a star in a team like pool full of other stars.. Laughing

ghimpheng SG

don't think so I think he have change to be a better player just like Frank Lampard and he really assist lots of goals and score some for charlton and Charlton is not really a average team Judging from the position in the league table they are now And liverpool league position who the average Team ? do I need to say more ?

dragg SG

i wont be surprised if he throw in the towel next season by going back to spain.

deathscythe99 SG

It was a waste to let Murphy go.

Well, Pool's loss, Charlton's gain? Twisted Evil Mr. Green
