UEFA Cup : Dinamo Bucharest 5 - Everton 1

Poolman SG

Shocked What happened ?

Everton one-season wonder ?

Last season they were "lucky" ?

Like Chelsea , if Frank Lampard stop scoring , Chelsea in trouble .

If Tim Cahill stop scoring , Everton are in trouble .

I guess Moyes must be fuming ...... he shouldn't have let Alan Stubbs go .

Philip Neville ? Simon Davies ? etc ......so what ? Bottomline , you must have a solid defense to play in Europe .

Scoreline make Everton a minnows in Europe .

Good bye Everton in E'rope .

Medicated Oil SG

Give Everton a chance.

Moyes will learn from it and beef up his squad on Jan.

Even if Everton kana knock out, it will be a good experience for them.

Unless Everton employ a foreign coach, the experience of the manager will alway be limited.

dragg SG

no good players will want to join everton.

many top players have rejected a move theree.

it will take many many years for everton to build a decent squad.

ispwich finished 5th once and were relegated the next season. this goes to prove that everton's success is only ephemeral.

incredible SG

Indeed.

Everton is gone case.

Their play is simply aweful to watch.

The only way to go is to replace Duncan ferguson and macus bent.

else they will continue to pump high ball up and lob in the crosses in the hope tt two burly man will get their head or body to the ball and covert it.

Enough said. Everton sucks. A disgrace to EPL

They r a miracle leh… Gt gd player… play like sh*t… No gd player, can perform until top 4 of EPL… Interesting team…

When they sold off Wayne Rooney, they seemed to do much better. I thought they would improve further, but then, they look set for the drop. Rolling Eyes

CoolMyth SG

Everton for the drop this season!

Xia suay ah! Laughing

And once again, David Moyes once said Everton is the best team in Merseyside. What beer were you drinking?

iveco SG

More likle Bell's Scotch whiskey to me. Laughing

The man who was death SG

I'm glad villa didn't sign beattie Laughing

Poolman SG

Liverpool once was linked with Beattie when Beattie is in Southampton , said to be The New Shearer , but then .... when he joined Everton , he seemed to be the second Darren Anderton , injuries after injuries .

Everton " hong-chui " no good for Beattie .

Must get Beattie go see Glenn Hoodle to find that Eleanor " Faith Healer " . Mr. Green

stellazio SG

Siao liao everton will end up like leeds..Spend so much to try to taste european glory but will end up facing financial difficulties.. Laughing

CoolMyth SG

Everton really didn't spend that much. That's the problem.

Spend too much and become like Leeds, spend too little and get kicked around by other teams.

Laughing at Everton.

Airbus330Captain SG

Everton = the best team in merseyside?

We won the European Cup and Super Cup, qualfied for CL and in the middle of EPL table.

Everton won nothing and got knocked out of CL and about to get knock out of UEFA cup and are near the bottom of the EPL.

I rest my case.

Poolman SG

There's only 2 teams at Merseyside , one is Liverpool FC , the other is Liverpool FC Reserves . Mr. Green

Patrik SG

Laughing

dragg SG

liverpool is much richer than everton.

CoolMyth SG

And today, David Moyes, for some reason, left Marcus Bent on the bench even though they need goals.....

They say they want to win 4-0. I think they already gave up at the start. Laughing

ghimpheng SG

I saw the match and eventually fall asleep as there is no goals score after Tim Cahill Header. There had lots of set pieces and crosses into the 6-yard box and did not take thier chances to shoot on target I felt that they could have won this match with a much better score @ least not 1-0 maybe 3-0 or more
