JOSEMI: I'll be much better this season

X-men SG

He better be Evil or Very Mad

"If I'm used as a centre back more, I'll be happy. I love tackling and this is where I'm strongest.

"In my last season at Malaga I played centre back, not right back so it's not a problem position for me. In fact, it's a position I enjoy very much."

With the way he's marking the opponents and tackling... he will be the top player giving away penalties.

Do you think he will be MUCH better?

Personally for me , I'll have doubts in him unless he prove himself , why talk so much ?

Against CSKA Sofia , he was deployed as centre back with Hyypia , in the end , the scoreline ?

He needs to work very hard to convince us his worth .

Rafael Benitez has revealed Spanish defender Josemi will feature much more in his first team plans this season.

Josemi impressed in a central defensive role against CSKA Sofia last week and then turned in a good display at right back in the Super Cup final win over CSKA Moscow.

The former Malaga man endured an injury hit first season on Merseyside last year, but Benitez insists he has enough quality to play his part in the Reds' quest for honours over the coming months.

He said: "Josemi can be an important player for us. He is a good player, an aggressive player, and he is getting more used to English football now.

"He played very well at centre back last week. I knew he could play there because he spent a year in that position with Malaga. Of course he can also play on the right of the defence as well so he gives us different possibilities.

"He was unfortunate last season because he had so many injury problems, but if he can stay fit then he will be an important member of our squad this year."

there! they are relatives, one way or the other!!!!

I'll like to see him against henry..If he can mark him out,he would have proved his worth and become a fans favourite overnight.. Laughing

Another tactical move doomed to failure.... Crying or Very sad

Let's give him a break la guys .

Last season is his first season , started brightly , faded away due to some injuries , and he's back now , fit ....let's give him a chance , see what he can do .

Let's judge him at the end of the season .

Benitez will also judge him at that time , if he still that inconsistant , i fear for his future .

Tradition of Liverpool Football Club

"Those who talk big, dun play well,

Those that dun talk, play best"

Example: Diao, Kewell.

So, joseemi is the next one.

I believe he will be much better if he is injured all the way.

This will keep the Keng-well company and they can talk BIG to each other.

DIAO: YOU HAVENT SEEN THE BEST OF ME YET
Despite not yet establishing himself as a first team regular, Senegal star Salif Diao remains confident he will get enough chances this season to show Liverpool fans what hes capable of.

By his own admission, Diao has been something of a disappointment since Gerard Houllier raided France to bring him to Anfield for a fee of £5 million after he impressed in the World Cup.

Almost a year liao.. what have we seen? and he actually cost £5 million Shocked What a total waste of money.

Diao has chiao to Pompey ! Mr. Green

The money we paid for him from Sedan is re-coup by some loan deal to Birmingham and Pompey , so we actually don't lose so much .

Soon Salif will go on a free like Biscan and Smicer .

L'pool has been good to him ... on that UCL medal .
