Damn It ! Newcastle 2 - Liverpool 0

Poolman SG

First , Newcastle "willing" to pay 17m pounds for Mick Owen , and priced us out of Owen's valuation .

They got Owen . First half : Newcastle 1-0 !

Then last night , last minute , they grapped Nolberto Solano back from Villa , under our noses .Damn ! Mad

Full time : Newcastle 2 - LFC 0 !

Poolman SG

And left us wingless for the first half of the season . Now let's pray hard our wing-less situation don't hurt us too much .

Must wait til January's transfer window to be re-open then we can do something again .

Still no centre-back and wingers .

Poolman SG

Gerrard for right wing slot , best solution .

Dun worry lah.

If they dun get any players, they can use the youth players lah.

No need to use established names.

Liverpool also lost out ot Simao due to price tag.

So, European Champion kana blackmailed by all the clubs in releasing their players.

What to do ??

You cannot buy players without $$$.

or else u have to look for a China Godfather.

Chelsea - USSR

Man Utd - USA

Plus liverpool hit the crossbar in the last min when the simao move collapse.. Laughing

The man who was death SG

Hey, pool's loss is not as big as villa's. losing our player of the season and the most creative force in the team is a big loss. now have to wait until january before can replace solano liao.

Prepare to see the same right wingers being linked with both pool and villa. I assure u it will be the same with the centre-backs.

Gazelle SG

When the kops visit st james, pool will give them 2 kosong.
Newcastle 0 Liverpool 2.... Laughing

I really do not understand why Benitez lodge bids only on the last day? By going for Simao and nobby at the same time, nobby will not take a chance just in case we sign Simao and he is left stranded. he definately would have choosen for a return to Toon. In the case of Simao, when Benfica knows that we are desperate for a RM, wouldn’t they jack up the price? Thats business for you and Benitez screwed up big time. Talking abt brinkmanship, do u really think we could outsmart Real for Owen? With their financial might, they would rather let Owen languish in the reserves than sell him on the cheap. I couldnt blame Owen for opting to go Toon, where he will feel wanted. He needs the confidence in a WC year. There is also no way Hyppia and Carra will play in ALL the games.I am a staunch Reds fan and i hate to say this but i rate Spurs and newcastle ahead of us not to mention the perennial top 3. We might be fighting with Villa for 6th place.

Frankly speaking, where did all the money go? We were promised 20M -30M before we won the CL, after that we were told that we made the most after our CL victory. Including the sale of baros and the released of so many players, we should have at least 35M to spend. Summer signings didnt even hit 20M

Cheer up lah.

All is not lost.

We still have some unknown players bought by Ah Ben.

There is also the Jan Window.

When Magpies is hovering at bottom of the table, we will see how Owen will behave.

For Spurs, they would have beat Chelsea if not for the stupid Mido elbow.

Spurs is pretty strong this year as they have a balanced squad of young and old.

They are looking like a top five team.

As for Liverpool, this is still the gelling season.

So, EPL title still not there yet.

Baros should not be sold.

Jan window? I very scared see Pool hovering just above the relegation zone by then. Face it, last 4 games, they have not been convincing.
