I think it is a fair result. This is only their second game since their summer vacation and the starting line-up wasn't really strong, with youngsters like Le Tallac, Warnock and Potter. All in all, I think the tie is in the bag now. I couldn't see them scoring 3 against us and Liverpool not scoring in the 2nd leg.

Båseline SG

Seems like TNS's keeper, Doherty did hellava saves to keep the scores from balloning. Mr. Green

alright la.the liverpool players also just came back from pre season training not long.liverpool should at the most be around 70 percent nia.

chihuahua SG

come on,this is a fair result IMO.
Your fair result being 5 goals or more?

CoolMyth SG

Liverpool have always been a safety first team, even with Rafa on board right now.

Remember how they came to Singapore, played an exhibition match and only won a respectable 2-0? Well, I figured it was the same this time, keep the defence tight, don't concede and hope for the best.

I only wished I went further with my gut instinct and bet 3-0/4-0 instead of only 3/4 goals.... Crying or Very sad

Same scoreline, same story.

Who is their next opponent? BTW, 6-0 aggregate is quite good, IMO.

DOUBLE

Poolman SG

When Cisse make it 1-0 , aggregate @ 4-0 , it's dead & buried for TNS .

Gerrard's two late goals in the 2nd half , only a run-in for Gerrard , for the fans !

After that first goal by Cisse , I guess we pulled our punches . No paricular reason to whack all the way , injury how ?

EPL new season only three weeks away , why risk ?
