the coach is important. but that does not mean that everywhere he goes he will win the championship.

www SG

32 millions pound!!

hahahaha.. i really ke lian chelsea. all clubs reject their bids, knowing that they can offer more.

carrot! chop chop chop chop chop chop chop chop!

stellazio SG

chelsea under mourinho second year now won’t be held to ransom..mourihno is too smart for this.and besides gerrard is not really his top priority.what he will try to do is get gerrard to hand in a request den liverpool cannot play liao.

the Bear SG

looking at Chelsea now, the only teams that can challenge them seem to be Arsenal.. i'm discounting MUFC coz of the turmoil now...

don't think they need anyone that badly... they can strengthen their team but it's plenty strong as it is..

foga SG

haiz if he wants to go so badly, den should let him go… somehow English players (jus my opinion ) just dun perform as well when playing aboarrd.. especially Liverpool Players.. Ian Rush also ( think he was with AC / inter ) before. i say , sell him and use the money to get other players.

dragg SG

the 30 million can be used to finance the purchase of 3 pablo aimars.

the Bear SG

i think LFC is trying to gouge Chelsea or Real Madrid..

with 32million pounds, they can build a team around Xabi..

waitrose SG

Tell you what..Gerrard can go to Chelsea for free and we top up another 10 million pounds and exchange for Lampard, Terry and Cech.

798 SG

yeah. the following year, blackburn was relegated to D1 after shearer left.

798 SG

the problem is aimars want to come liverpool or not? or his club want to let go of him is another.

dragg SG

if the price is right anything is possible. morever aimar is bench warmer there/

Medicated Oil SG

It is pretty obvious who Liverpool is waiting for.

If tomorrow RM offer 35 million, SG will go liao.

Liverpool not so stupid to sell it to Chelsea and make life difficult for themselves.

RM is not longer a strong team.

Liverpool can win the League title if they change their captain.

The team is greatly influenced by the mood of the captain.

He has to go.

But, he is also responsible for bringing the CL Cup to Liverpool.

But, he already spend his one night stand with the Cup.

He can go in peace liao.

stellazio SG

latest news.gerrard hands in transfer requests.he has told the liverpool board that he won’t accept their latest offer..but i dun wan gerrard,i rather get adriano..wtf why gerrard..

798 SG

dunno why SG changed his mind all the sudden... ungrateful brat! Mad

waitrose SG

I rather let Smicer sleep with the Cup than Gerrard. How can anyone leave after a night like this. What a load of bull! I think Rafa suspected this. That is why Hamman was given a year extension. True Hamann is no Gerrard. But at least there’s still a midfielder left to play with Alonso.

X-men SG

on a unfair note:

Chelsea 'bought' the title

to be fair:
their players peak at the right time esp the defence. Look at how many goals they conceded last season

Poolman SG

Chelsea and Real Madrid has an agreement last few days ... that both this two clubs will not engage in the player's transfer war between them .

But this time around , both this two clubs are in a hell of turmoil .

I bet you , Fiorentino Perez will get his next phone call from Rick Parry .

Stand aside Chelsea , Rick Parry will asked Perez this : " Chelsea willing to pay me 32 million pounds for this player name Stevie Gerrard , if you pay me 35 million pounds , plus XXX and XXY players , this players is yours !

Trust me , S.Gee heading Spanish land !

dragg SG

i fully agree.

liverpool will make full use of the opportunity to land themselves with a few free players and transfer money in excess of 32 million pounds. they will not be silly enough to sell him to a premiership club.

i believe chelsea has no interest in gerrard too. they are trying to sabotage RM.

incredible SG

Next Yr, Toffee's fans will be chanting "Stevie G! Stevie G!" during merseyside derby. Mr. Green

CoolMyth SG

We chant "Wayne Rooney", "Wayne Rooney" back lor.....

Now that Stevie G admits it, it's time to go. I see the final price as 35 million pounds or something, peharps add in Wayne Bridge/Glen Johnson also can....

Imagine Stevie G playing rightback in Chelsea.... Laughing

It's time to go. We thank you for what you've done. But it's time to go....

P.S: I've just sent an e-mail to football365.com about Stevie G. Hope it gets through....

RSP SG

Before last season, who expected LFC to win the Champion's League? Especially after they lost a certain scouser in the name of Michael Owen.

Who is to be for sure that LFC can't win the league this season?Miracles do happen my friends. LFC fans should know better. Mr. Green

No player is bigger than the club. We should not keep a player if his desire is no longer there. With all respect to Steven Gerrard, he is a great player. But since he's come out of the closet and declared that he wants out, he should just go. Losing him now is better than losing him in the middle of the season of worst the start of next where his value will have significantly dropped.

Losing Gerrard does not necessarily spell disaster. We don't have to look far for an example. Everton became a better team after Rooney left.

We all got to look towards the future. Rafa needs to scout for able replacements. Players with the will to win and the desire to play for the club. Anfield will never walk alone. No player is bigger than the club. Razz
