A side question, who wore the no 10 shirt before Owen did? I can’t qute remember the person’s name. Was it Macca?

miaomiao11 SG

hi guys, juz wanna noe wht u guys think of him.. was it the right decision to sell him?

he was terrific for us but once houllier came in.. it started the downfall of his career.. was it the fault of houiller?
personally, i think we should hav kept him then..

F.raon.I.R SG

he only cared abt his nose

meltz SG

Laughing and the plaster

miaomiao11 SG

haha not cute la the plaster… no colour and pattern de..

iveco SG

Fowler spent too much time clubbing already. He lacked the discipline that Houllier wanted.

miaomiao11 SG

but i tot the parntership of owen-fowler was the best… he was so much betta than heskey..

Poolman SG

Agree , only if he's as professional as Paolo Maldini of Milan , he'll be a legend in L'pool .

But a real talent like him chose to go clubbing , drugs , attitude etc.....

Main thing Houllier sold him , was that he was a bad influence to the young .

Same to Mcnamanan , a very bad influence to the fellow team mates , remember Mcnamanan Bosman , Fowler nearly follow suit in not signing , forcing Houllier to sell him .

Anyway , Fowler and Mcnamanan is history for us now .

Both never succeed after leaving LFC .

Patrik SG

I dun mind Fowler coming back to Anfield.

Medicated Oil SG

The Spice Boys Era in Liverpool is already OVER.

GH have his reason for letting Fowler go.

He is a bad influence and trying to act like a KING.

But, he is a GONER liao.

miaomiao11 SG

GH did said he was a bad influence ah?

i tot it was GH hu kept dropping him and didnt let him play thts y he become like tht de

Patrik SG

Wun forget his classic hat-trick against Arsenal
Very Happy

frOst^~^nOva SG

well i think he's playing quite well at man city now. Wink

RSP SG

He put on a bit too much weight...got unfit... Laughing

Lost form, dropped confidence, was never the same great player he was...

Selling him then was a good move..

No..i would not want Fowler back at LFC now...yup, he's done well for the club in the past...but he's way past his best days..

RSP SG

X-men SG

If I remember correctly.. he is the 'god' of Anfield.

He is another player who 'killed' himself. He could easily be someone like Ian Rush. Nevertheless, I still like him.

dragg SG

the fowler we see at man city is a joke.

he is making so much from his rental business i think he has lost his zest for football.

798 SG

he was a terror back then... not forget he was a honest player who told the referee he did not deserve the penalites which Seaman foul on him. Laughing

miaomiao11 SG

ya i like this attitude... this is the so-called paolo-di-canio-attitude

Poolman SG

If he stays firm at Liverpool that time , and dun "play play" , he probably will be a Legend at this time .

He has got one of the best left foot in the business .

Just too bad , a typical Englishman got rotten by bad influence , probably from Mcnamanan .

JLennon SG

i like Fowler. he is an honest lad who played his all during his early days at liverpool. the partnership that he had with stan collymore chalked up a heck load of goals too. unfortunately, liverpool did not have the steely resolve that typifies the current team. imo, he is the best finisher (second to shearer) in the EPL.
