Croatian midfielder Igor Biscan has not been offered a new
contract by Liverpool and is subsequently available on a free
transfer.
There was talk that the 27-year-old would be rewarded with a new
deal because of his part in the club's European success this season
but that isn't to be the case.
Italian outfit Lazio are leading the race to sign the hard-working
player who has since cleared out his Melwood locker.
He was signed by Gerard Houllier from Croatia Zagreb for £5.5m back
in 2000.
