I'm starting to worry..... too many talks....even Alonso dream that he scored the winning goal. sometimes when players start dreaming... they lost focus a...

Date : 25th May 2005

Day : Wednesday

Time : 02.30am Sg Time

We waited 20 years for this moment .

Let's enjoy ourself .

Forget about our performance in that EPL .

A Liverpool win 1-0 ! Just sense the team's confidence right now .
I just can't wait !

the Bear SG

it's Milan...

i think for LFC to win, they HAVE to play Cisse.. his speed will leave the aging defenders of Milan in the dust...

however, LFC's defense has to contend with a master goalscorer in Shevchenko who has shown he can score against any defense..

damn.. i may miss the game coz i'm doing my night shift Mad

Poolman SG

It's scary when you see Maldinin , Stam , Cafu in those defensive line-up .

Hope those playing away from home woes staying away from us .

I've got a weird feeling we might win this time .

'Cos when Italians played against any top English team like MU and Chelsea , also Arsenal , they seldom win .

The reason is they don't favour , dislike the physical pace of the English style .

Although Liverpool is not a pure English style football team , but with the players Stevie Gerrard , and Carragher to urge the team on , it makes no different .

Player to watch : Seedorf ! His long range shot !

Players need not watch too much : Crespo ! Mr. Green

It's a battle between Gattuso & Gerrard , who wins the midfield , who will triump !

Liverpool probable line-up 4-3-1-2
Dudek

Finnan
Hyypia
Carragher
Traore

Riise
Alonso
Gerrard

Garcia

Cisse
Baros

You'll Never Walk Alone !

the Bear SG

could be LFC's year as Milan squandered a 3-1 lead in the last 15 minutes, handing Juve the Scudetto...

it's not everyday you see Milan throw leads away...

this may demoralise the heck out of Milan...

and with LFC coming in on a winning note in the last game.. the team may be on a run! Very Happy

CoolMyth SG

This is it. All or Nothing!

Must. Stay. Up. For. This. Match! Don't know when Liverpool has such a chance again. Go Liverpool! Mr. Green

X-men SG

My brain says AC to win but my heart wants Liverpool to win Mr. Green

On paper Liverpool don't seems like the likely winner. I just hope the lads will rise to the level and give AC a run for their title Twisted Evil

and who knows... maybe we might just win

Takumi2eLimit SG

this game will be a stroll in the park for Milan.. Laughing

Medicated Oil SG

The pressure is showing its effect on AC Milan as they have not performed well in their past few Italian league game.

As for Liverpool, I read from the web site that they are NOT practising any penalty taking.

It is like commiting suicide as the game would most probably be defensive with goalless draw at the final minute.

In term of the motivation, Liverpool have the edge as for the most of the players, this is their LAST and ONLY chance for a CL final in their LIFE.

So, I think it will be a penalty shoot out after 120 minutes of play.

dragg SG

i hope you are wrong. i dont want to watch 120 minutes + penalty kicks. hopefully the match is settled in normal time.

Poolman SG

If i'm Benitez , i wouldn't want to let others know what tactics i'm deploying , including penalty kicks , so who knows ......

798 SG

i have a feeling dat cisse cant score one.. Twisted Evil

Goondu74 SG

i can already imagine the headlines: ’ Milan downs Milan!’ or ’ Cisse seize the day!’

Medicated Oil SG

Milan Baros have soured the relationship with Ah Ben so much.

I believe he trying to patch up with Ah Ben by saying on Liverpool web site that he did not crititise Ah Ben's tactics.

That is why I am not sure whether Milan Baros is even in the starting line-up.

Poolman SG

Although AC Milan drew and lost the last few games , this is even more dangerous ! It shows that they're fully focus on this Final .

As for Liverpool , the last player i want to see on the team sheet is Harry Kewell .

My choice forward is Baros and Cisse .

Let this two speed demon destroy the aging defense .

I think Benitez will use flank more for this match .

When you use more on both the flanks , you can create corners , when you've corners , Hyypia comes in handy .

Set pieces will be the plan .

if we use Cisse and Baros upfront, we r gonna take those Milan old folks by surprise man!!! hope can c them both starting upfront, with Riise, Gerrard and Alonse and Luis Garcia in MF. actually Traore not very stable oso... kinda scared if he plays... Confused

COME ON PPL!!! LIVERPOOL ALL THE WAY!!!

Medicated Oil SG

I saw the worst nightmare.

Joseemi practising with Baros and Biscan at the STrait time sport page.

Is he in the starting line-up ?

gasband SG

I think its a very intelligent comment from Rafa. It is a pyschological thing. Telling Milan that we are gonna take the game to them and we are not afraid of them and will not wait for penalties to win the CUP!

We will prevail!

Redz SG

On paper, we've got no chance! Confused

But tat's the same case since we miracuously qualified for the knock-out rounds. It's been a fairytale.... and fairytales always have happy endings! Very Happy

loseagain SG

im just a bystander who hope pool wins n put UEFA in a dilemma

stellazio SG

milan won’t have it easy thats for sure, liverpool had more rest to prepare for this game.10 days in fact so their legs would be very fresh and especially even more so considering whats at stake for them.as for milan, the desire to win this cup isn’t as much as liverpool and for me,i think the desire and hunger shown by the liverpool players will take them through becuz form counts for nothing in a final.
