How you summed up Liverpool's season ?

Poolman SG

Fifth in EPL .

Runner-up for League Cup .

European Champion .

kopiosatu SG

i expected worse.

at least i'm glad to say i have watched them lift up the european cup once in my lifetime.

the one at 1984 doesn't count because i was too young.

UCL aside, disappointed season (5th place comparing to last year 4th place)

with UCL champion, yeah, i give pool a great credit for nvr give up for beating strong team.

Poolman SG

I'm very satisfied in our overall performance .

'Cos we fare better than Houllier's reign , Houllier delivered only the UEFA Cup .

Not forgetting we had one hell of those inury problem .

thoreldan SG

sidetrack a little....

Which do you guys think is more difficult to get?
Champions league winner or EPL Winner?

Yes! hope morientes would pick form next season! then we'll be challenging for top honours! haha well let's live it for the moment. Last night was by far the best champon's league finals i have watched. i would say liverpool's season is actually quite good, considering this is only benitez's first year in charge, with the club undergoing transition and all. Wink

798 SG

but houllier delivered triple crowns dat season.

The man who was death SG

FUTILE. Even though they win the champs league, they still play uefa cup next season if they don’t get extra place

798 SG

UCL should be more difficult.

Poolman SG

No title can fight the Title of European Champion !

798 SG

have to agree with that. esp the amount of money win also big right?

Poolman SG

Of course the EPL Title . It has got 38 matches . It no easy to maintain a consistant form thru out , injury free , suspension free etc....

UCL has got only about ..... qualifying 2 matches , group stages 6 matches , knock out stages : 4 , quater final : 4 ! ......only about 20 games only .
