Derby or no derby, Liverpool of this season will bound to spring some surprise to the Liverpool fan.

No need to taunt the Evertonians.

They should earned the respect of all EPL clubs from performing out of expectation this season without any BIG players.

Everton is truly a team that plays like a team.

So, I am in for a DRAW.

Liverpool have been struggling for a miserable 4th placing for the past 4 years.

Liverpool always do well at Anfield this season , except 4 that match against Birmingham !

As far as my belief is concern , i firmly believe that the tide will never be against us all the time , at sometime of the stage , there will be a turn around , and I can see this match as a turnaround match for us , as in " the winning streak starts from here. " ......

As for Everton , the pressure is on them to stay up there .......

Without Graveson , Everton has been inconsistent ! That new chap Arteta is far from Graveson's shadow !

Tim Cahill has not been in form recently .....

7 points gap will be too much for liverpool.
especially now they still have Champion League as a distraction.
So unless Everton cock up themselves, I dont see how liverpool can win the rest of the EPL games.

For all pool fans, get prepared for Uefa cup action next season. For all u know, Charlton and Bolton might even pit u for the UEFA cup spot Mr. Green

When Everton slips, there are 5 teams that can take over the 3rd placing.

Spurs, Boro, Bolton, Charlton and Liverpool.

So, Liverpool is not really the only team.

With their inconsistent performance and involvement in Champion League Soccer, they will be max-out to play more games with their limited field of players.

Unless they can win all the remaining EPL games and Ah Ben can change his tactics of heavy deployment of Spanish players, it really does not make a difference whether Liverpool win or lose tonight.

As expected, we played with conviction...much like other BIG games!

We WON...well-deserved!!! Cld've been more convincing if Baros was not off-color tonite....tat stupid boy then got himself sent off!!! Sad

If we can treat all remaining opponents like Everton or Gunners, we shd be on the way to achieve this season's target....not to mention the $$$ to improve the squad.

Meanwhile, let's pray tat our injuries were not tat serious last nite.

Liverpool played to a well-deserved victory last night.

But, the victory was marred by the injury and senting-off of Baros.

So, for the next EPL match against Bolton, which is one point behind us, Liverpool will be playing with NO STRIKERS.

It will a passionate show of soccer I seen last night.

It have been a long time since I see Liverpool overcome such difficulties (4 injuries in ONE match) that they held on to victory.

Although Baros missed two open chances, he have done himself a disservice by being sent off.

From the body language of Ah Ben when Baros walks to the tunnel, I guess Baros will be on the way out for the next season.

The most important point of all was the celebration and hugging of players after the match as they have overcome a difficult match.
