Real Madrid is losing its players.. or at least the players all
wanna go off...
OWEN TO
TOON
Newcastle are interested in providing Michael Owen with a way out
of Real Madrid, where the England striker has been struggling since
his summer transfer. Sitting on the bench behind Raul and Ronaldo,
Owen has not seen much playing time and has admitted to struggling
to adapt to the culture and language. But Micky denied any move out
of La Liga, telling the Sunday Mirror: "There has been a lot more
made of my situation at Madrid in England than there has been in
Spain. There is no crisis with me over there and I have no
intention of leaving." Real have reportedly informed Toon that they
would have to pay all of his £90,000-a-week salary.

'BECKS FANCIES
HIGHBURY'
David Beckham favours a move to Arsenal if he decides to leave Real
Madrid, says The Sun. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger apparently told
Beckham in the summer - at Martin Keown's testimonial - that he
would make a bid for the England captain if he needed an escape
route from Spain. Beckham is said to have feared that Real would
sell him to Chelsea.
