Gandalf. SG LFC was never in the contest against Olympiakos. 1-0 is a flattering scoreline.It could have been 3-0. The 4-5-1 system is not working as well for Benitez at LFC,as compared to Valencia because there is no Pablo Aimar.Aimar was the player that made the system tick. Luis Garcia is no Aimar.
Medicated Oil SG Cisse and Baros are not strong players to hold the ball. So, I agree that the lone striker plan will not work. Liverpool must play three upfront for more firepower. Our midfield is not effective enough to deliver the ball upfront to the striker. I have a feeling that Ah Ben will play defensive against Chelsea for a draw. I dun see Liverpool beating Chelsea at this moment. The squad need more players. Kewell should retired.
Redz SG I think he's deploying both Cisse and Baros for home matches and relying on a lone striker when away. So agst Chelski, it's gonna be the same - shd see Cisse supported by Garcia.
