Poolman SG Wait , let me calculate ( tic-tac tic-tac on calcultor ! )..... not a bad deal leh ! 10 million pounds on two players , Nunuez and Alonso ! Sell M.Owen for 8 , we only pay 2 million ? As to say , 2 million for Alonso and Nunez , it was a catch man !!! So who still think we shouldn't sell M.Owen ? Benitez is not only shrew on the pitch , shrew too in negotiate players into LFC ! A Big step for him , a even big step for us , a mega step for LFC's future ! .........................
Medicated Oil SG The Training Ground is Jinx or the new recruit is trying to hard to impress. After attending the first training session, Nunez torn his ligament. Maybe, he have a long chat with Diao before the session. Diao must have share with him a trick or two. The only disappointment is that we cannot see how he perform against Manchester City. The issue I am worried about Ah Ben is that he is clearing house more than he is recruiting. If he is hit by any player's injury, he will be in big trouble. cos he dun have a deep reserve,
Redz SG Thx for trying to make us feel-good...but I'm still furious leh! owen was worth 25m juz 16 moons ago! So there is a depreciation of almost 1m per mth; n tat's not including the missed penaltie(s) he cost us! Worse, he forgot to take his injury-jinx with him...now Nunez is injured; hope it's not serious! *fingers crossed*
top-draw SG Considering Owen was in his final yr of his contract,8 million plus a player exchange was probably a decent deal. Still,Liverpool shd have persuaded Owen to sign earlier.GH shd have done a better job tying the player down.Like what Redz mentioned,Owen a couple of seasons ago was worthed a lot more than the 11million Liverpool received.
Poolman SG [color=red]All thanks to Mick Owen for successfully deploying those delaying tactics for this game ! I think those LFC bosses was taken for a ride by M.Owen , promise after promise , still he didn't want to commit his future to LFC , just too bad !
