Any particular reason for dropping Diouf ?

Benitez did not see him play at all , and yet ...... something fishy here !

But I can't think of other possibility other than Diouf's massive 50,000 pounds per week salary !

Any "insiders" story here ?

InOffThePost SG

There is no need for insider's stories!Diouf is being forced out of Anfield.

No Squad number,no trip to USA.He was one of 3 players Benitez spoke to about their futures at the club. One is Babbel who has since left the club. And the other is Gregory Vignal, who is also not included in the USA trip.

What other reason can it be?Diouf's future is bleak! Mr. Green

InOffThePost SG

Latest Info: Le Tallec has been withdrawn from the squad to US.Benitez has agreed to allow LeTallec to stay back and look for a club to go on a season long loan because he cannot promise LeTallec regular first team football next season. Exclamation

On hindsight, we've definitely over-paid for Diouf!

The gambles GH took in tat year all seemed to back-fire - Diouf, Diao and Cheyrou. Now it's no surprise if all 3 will be out pretty soon - Cheyrou already on loan, Diouf looks set to go, and Diao's performances haven't been convincing.

Dun think they'll be missed! Mr. Green
