Reds admit Gerrard fears

Poolman SG

Is he leaving for a greener pasture across London ?

Let it be lor Crying or Very sad , consolation is , Valencia doesn't have S.Gee , but they won the Spanish Title leh above Real Madrid and Deportivo leh.... Laughing

Do you think S.Gerrard will ever leave Anfield ?

kpo SG

bro ... it is very common to use such rumours to unsettle players ... many clubs have been using it ... it's no surprise the disgusting mafias are using it ...

... i have faith in our captain ... he worked his butt off last season and i believe he's still committed to the reds ... unless he himself says he wants to leave ...

... to me the appointment of ah ben will help ... but if stevie g decides the mafia bridge (or any other place) is better than anfield, then go ahead ... it may be a big blow to us but we don't want no player who does not want to play for the mighty reds ... Wink

... any player who doesn't want to be at anfield, there's the door

Redz SG

Frankly, I'll be very shocked if Stevie leaves now... coz I believe his heart is burning RED! Wat with the appt of a new manager n possibly some exciting new signings...I'm pretty sure he'll like to stay on n help put the Reds back to where we belong Very Happy

Båseline SG

Stevvie and Owen were consulted over the new appt of the new Manager and since Benitez is their choice, it’s likely both of them will stay.

I gets a bit worry when Rick Parry himself admits Stevie G has asked permission to speak to Pete Kenyon !

It has gone above the level of rumour !

Anyway , let it be la .......

Can anyone remind me of any ex-Liverpudlian who left LFC and has succeeded with another club ?

I can only remember many left and has failed........

eg...Fowler , Mcnamana , James ( relegated with westham ! ) , Bjornebye , Kvarma ,etc.....

Speculations are still speculations , but i hate to read all those articles ! Becasue it make sense in all aspect !

Money , Chelsea doubled his weekly $$$ !

Succees , Chelsea die-die want the next Title with Mourihno !

Let's hope and pray hard Stevie Gee doesn't tempt with a move by Money !

kpo SG

... have to agree i hate reading crap like these ...

... i still think he will stay but i'm prepared for the worst ... players like nedved, ronaldinho, shevchenko etc have rejected the mafia ... why can't he? ... so if he wants to go, go ...

sillyme SG

it's their career, they should choose what they think is best for them.
i'm sure benitez will be able to bring in able replacement =)

Poolman SG

When you have to go , you had to go ! Wink

Let's hope the meeting at Lisbon hotel between our new boss and our English star players came out fruitful !

It's a plus point for Benitez to make an effort to go to Lisbon to meet up with his players ! The side effect is a good one , 'cos it gave the so-said star players a stablizing effect towards the tournament !

With or without S.Gee , we will live on !

Roulette SG

Chelsea is assembling a huge squad to challenge for the title.

Chelsea is offrering a staggering 100K per week salary for Stevie G.

With high title winning prospects and a huge pay check in place,it would not be surprising if Gerrard leaves. What will surprise me is if he is allowed to leave for less than 50 million pounds.

Steven Gerrard was the heart and soul of Liverpool last season. The team without him will be unimaginable.

Though there are reports that Gerrard will leave with Scott Parker or even Damien Duff coming over, plus 31 million pounds upfront. The funds expected to go into the purchase of Ayala,Vicente and Aimar.

If this is the case,it does'nt necessarily spell a bad thing afterall.

One player in exchange for a couple quality player seems a decent deal.

Redz SG

Agree...but if he has lost his heart n soul by allowing himself to be bot by Chelski, then we've got to move on!

The fact is we'll live...with/without Stevie. With the 30m, we're even more likely to see new exciting players like Nedved, Rosicky, VDV, Vicente, etc.... To me, Nedved alone will prove to be more than capable replacement.

Looks like the ball is in Stevie's court...of course I'm still hopeful of him staying. Very Happy
