Ermmmm , Pete Schmichel ? As of that MU's Legendary Goalkie ?

I can't say much more , he's absolutely right !

Oh yeah ! He's been following Liverpool FC's progress , huh ?

What's Pete's The Great has been emphasising , has been echoing around the world by experts and pundits , so....it's not a surprise actually , he's merely summing it all up !

So BoBo , you don't agree ?

I'm sorry , I still want GH's head to roll , roll , roll your head , roll it down the drain.......merrily merrily merrily , rolling down the drain ! Mr. Green

looks like pool is in the driving seat for the 4th place. hopefully nufc produces something spectacular vs marseille and we'll see how they fare in the away games.

uncle poolman, you must be really excited now uh. oh and i miss my bobo Laughing

Redz SG

Yes, advantage Reds for now.

There cld still be more twists to the "plot" Laughing

Let's take 1 game at a time.

kpo SG

ah pool ... i definitely agree ... i think there was a fellow red who said pete the great is the type of people we need at anfield and i fully agree ... that's the attitude we need ...

ah val ... in an ideal world i'd have both the reds and the magpies qualify for champs league at the expense of one of the top 3 Very Happy ... it ain't over till it's over mate ... remember how your magpies were written off during the champs league 1st round? ... i hope not but you never know ...

redsy ... it already has 1 twist i didn't expect our reds to be in 4th position ... we probably don't deserve to be in this position but i'll take it anyway Smile

Redz SG

Looks like most of us have under-estimated our Reds Laughing

The biggest twist tat could happen now is if we lose the 4th spot to Toons on the last day of the season. But tat's not gonna do any good to us...coz GH will still be around.

I kind of looking forward to the next season already...coz it's gonna be a title or bust one as far as GH is concerned - either way, we win! Twisted Evil

Redz SG

Mission accomplished!!! Very Happy

X-men SG

yes.. no doubt we got the 4th spot BUT still its a bad season that Liverpool actually have to put 'getting the 4th spot' as the mission. so sad.... we should be aiming for titles.. cups...

Redz SG

U're right...we shdn't be juz aiming for 4th. But as highlighted at the start of this thread, it's mission tat's best for the club given the circumstances at tat time - ie, out of all cups n out of sight in the EPL race.

Like all Reds fans, I'm not happy with this season.

So to sum up this thread, I quote someone's comment as reported in TNP recently:-

*************
...sees Liverpool's sealing of the fourth spot in the Premiership table both positively and negatively.

He feels the result is not good enough for a club of such stature.

'Still, being able to qualify for the Champions League is good as the money will come in useful,' he adds. 'The players can also gain valuable experience playing on the European stage.
*************

Let's hope for a better tomorrow...I mean next season! Very Happy
