I always have this weird notion that midfielders take better
penalties than strikers. Its becos penalties, more often than not,
goes for placement than power. But most of the times, when u see
strikers on one on one situation with goalkeepers, they just shoot,
very rarely, though we have, u would see a striker taking time to
place the ball into a certain spot.
Midfielders however are trained to do precise passing, crossing.
Thus I find that in a penalty, they are able to analyse which spot
they want and have a higher chance to make it.
Weird notion, but thats what I think hahaha.
